We are glad to share our wonderful vacation home at Timber Ridge in Silverthorne, Colorado with you! It is truly a special setting with countless attractions for every family! We live in the Denver area and try to make it to the mountains often as we are all active skiers, hikers and enjoy taking advantage of anything the mountains can offer.
Craig purchased this condo in 2011
We love that our mountain home is just an hour and a half from Denver. Just a short drive yet you seem a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can't beat the proximity to skiing, golfing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, gorgeous views of the mountains and Lake Dillon. We love the mountain decor throughout as it reminds us that we are in the Colorado mountains. We can even watch the 4th of July Fireworks from our front window, Our home is not near any busy roads and is quiet and peaceful - what a Colorado vacation should be!
The most striking and memorable thing about our condo is the view from our front windows and deck. It may be one of the best views in all of Summit County!
This is a very well-run and maintained property! Enjoyed the views and being high up above Silverthorne. Particularly fun for the kids in the loft bedroom. Would recommend to anyone.
We had an amazing time in Colorado staying in your Condo. Our 3 kids ages 3, 5, 9 loved the upstairs bunkhouse and the views are amazing! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. Craig (the owner) is easy to get in touch with and very helpful. We can't wait to make another trip!
We spent our fall break at the Bear Cub Hideaway. With two families and a total of 6 kids it was a great time all around. The loft/bunkhouse is great. Very nice that there were swim towels in addition to regular towels. Kitchen is well stocked and everything is really nice. We hiked to Lily Pad Lake a couple of times, spent time in Frisco & Dillon fishing and kayaking, shopping in Silverthorne and enjoyed the amazing view every day. Fall break is a low season so we practically had the clubhouse to ourselves (nice hot tubs and swimming pool, racquetball, tennis, fusball, and ping pong).
Couldn't of asked for anything better. Had a great time with my husband, adult children, and their spouses. Shopping, fishing, and hiking all very close by. Condo was very nice with fantastic views. Would definitely go again.
This condo was perfect. We had 6 adults staying there and 2 of the couples were from out of state and loved the view every morning. We had a wonderful time kayaking from Frisco marina, hiking to the Lily Pad pond, renting bikes at Dillon bike rentals and riding to Keystone. Everything we did was so close to the condo that we didn't have to spend much time driving in a car and yet we had plenty to do. This was the second time in 5 weeks my husband and I have rented this particular condo and have been renting it for years. I highly recommend it for all ages.
We were able to enjoy the Bear Cub Hideaway with out of town family this summer. The location is perched picture-perfect high above Silverthorne's bustle, but close enough to be so convenient. The inside of the home was so comfy and everything was amazing quality. The upstairs loft was fun for the kids, complete with Nintendo games. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
