We are glad to share our wonderful vacation home at Timber Ridge in Silverthorne, Colorado with you! It is truly a special setting with countless attractions for every family! We live in the Denver area and try to make it to the mountains often as we are all active skiers, hikers and enjoy taking advantage of anything the mountains can offer.
Craig purchased this Condo in 2011
Why Craig chose Silverthorne
We love that our mountain home is just an hour and a half from Denver. Just a short drive yet you seem a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can't beat the proximity to skiing, golfing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, gorgeous views of the mountains and Lake Dillon. We love the mountain decor throughout as it reminds us that we are in the Colorado mountains. We can even watch the 4th of July Fireworks from our front window, Our home is not near any busy roads and is quiet and peaceful - what a Colorado vacation should be!

Great family vacation spot.
Had a great time celebrating the holidays with my daughter, son-in-law and three grandkids. The condo was very spacious and very comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room upstairs in the loft. All of the beds in the condo were very comfortable and it was nice to have three bathrooms. We made a few dinners to eat in and the kitchen worked well. On our days off from skiing the kids loved the pool, hot tub and games in the club house. The central location of the condo to all the ski resorts was perfect. Would love to stay here again.
Great place to stay!
Beautifully decorated condo. Good amount of space. Super close to Copper and Keystone. Not too bad of a drive to Breck. Lovely views, nice trail, super fun clubhouse. Very attentive owner.
Condo is perfect
After an extended stay at Bear Cub Hideaway in August, it really did feel like home. Craig is very responsive and takes pride in making sure the condo Is perfect during your stay. The furnishings are lovely and the new beds are very comfortable. We had two sets of grandkids visit for a few days, Each evening, we would have a family activity. One night was "count the bears," another "count the skis". Great memories were made. A view is very important to us, and this condo has the best. We did enjoy the clubhouse. Loved using the spa after hiking and love that hiking is right out the door. The condo is convenient to everything. We love the farmers markets in nearby towns as well as the wonderful outdoor concerts. It's the best and we will be back again, and again (I hope.)
We love coming here for July 4th! You can see the fireworks from the condo. The beds are comfortable, there are lots of charging stations, the table is big enough for 10! It's conveniently located across from the club house. It's close to Lily Pad Lake which is a great hike for kids.
Craig is responsive and took care of all our needs! Thank you!
Overall we had a good time
We knew the property was on the third floor however we didn't realize how many stairs there were to get up to the third-floor that was a little bit taxing also there seem to be pet hair in several locations of the home when we left we all kind of had pet hair on our clothes and on our socks and also smelled of pet in the condo however the condo itself was very charming we enjoyed cooking and sleeping there. However the King size bed was extremely hard I had back pain when we left. But overall thank you for our stay we did have a good time in spite of.
As this is the first time receiving a three star review, I feel compelled to respond.
Our condo is above 9500 feet in elevation, so the stairs can affect those that are not used to being at high altitude. The pay-off is the views we have from our condo though!
Our condo association does not allow pets for non-owners and it has only been occasional that a pet has even been in our condo. This weekend I visited the condo myself to see if there was an issue. I even inquired from neighbors and the cleaning team to see if they could smell pets. All of them said no. Nonetheless, I asked the cleaning service to perform a deep clean to rid any issues that may exist. I apologize for this issue as this is the first such comment I received like this in six years.
Regarding the Master Bedroom King Size bed. This is a brand new bed and the mattress is also a new Beautyrest mattress. It is a mattress more on the firm side as that is what my wife and I prefer. The sales person stated that additionally new mattresses are also firmer as they go through the break-in period.
I am glad you had a good time "in spite of" these issues. I know our condo may not be a good fit for all of our guests, but we do work hard to make sure it will appeal to most.
Beautiful, comfortable, and central location
The condo fit 4 adults and 5 kids perfectly. The 3 bathrooms made cleanup time quick. We picked Silverthorne for the central location between Colorados popular attractions. The kids couldn't wait to get back from our daily adventures to go swimming. We will definitely try to stay here again in a year or two. Thank you Craig.
