Great Manhattan Apartment

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is located in the heart of Little Italy and adjacent to Chinatown. Short walk to get must try Puglia right around the bread in town! Apartment was fully stocked with dish soap, garbage bags, paper towel, toilet paper and even shampoo and conditioner. This was a huge convenience in New York City. Apartment was cozy and clean for 5 people.

Great location

  • 4 of 5

We are a family of 5, (2 adults and 3 children) and this was a great location. Very centrally located to the subway and easy to walk to places. The apartment was a great size. We had plenty of room to stretch out and get away from each other for a bit of a break when we got back from a long day of touring.

The beds were very comfortable. The room closest to the street was a bit noisy at night, but you are in NYC... so it's expected. The water pipes were loud at night as well.

All in all, I highly recommend this place. It's way more room than a hotel which we are always looking for with 3 kids.

Excellent response time in any questions or problems as well.

Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic Asiana Italiano

  • 5 of 5

Three of us rented the Asiana Italiano Thanksgiving week.

Had a great time at this location. It is located in Chinatown right across the street from Little Italy. Two great neighborhoods in one location. It is a perfect location for window strolls and people watching. The street vendors, proximity to Nolito shops and to the financial district give it a true New York feel. The apartment is in the middle of the action but easily connects to trains downtown, uptown or into Brooklyn and Queens.

The apartment is clean and comfortable. There are two queen beds and a futon. the duvets are so soft and we slept like rocks. Noise was minimal despite being one floor above the busiest street in Chinatown. When we had an issue with the hot water heater the owner was on it within fifteen minutes and had no additional trouble.

If you are looking for somewhere to spend a lot of time at while in NYC it may get a bit cramped for a bigger family, but if you are just looking for a place to crash while exploring I couldn't think of a better spot.

Will definitely stay again if in NYC.

Location and accommodations were great. Very clean, elevator and meter parking in front of apartment. Walking distance to the Bowery, Little Italy etc. What else can you ask for in Manhattan.

Great location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at the Little Italy Penthouse Piedatterra - a great little pad in a central location. We had a couple of little issues (the door handle came off the bathroom door) but these were fixed within hours of notification. The apartment was clean and spacious enough for 4 of us (we used the sofa bed as well), and well stocked with toiletries. It is an old apartment, and has some plumbing issues. The street noise was loud, particularly the rubbish truck and the cleaner, but within the week we had all slept through it once! We didn't use the coffee machine, but found a great Australian barista a couple of blocks away in Mott St! Our only thought was that it would have been great to have a few essentials in the apartment on arrival - perhaps some milk and tea/coffee. Definitely recommended.

Great time in NYC

  • 4 of 5

The hosts were very well organized and very responsive via text message and email. We did not need to call them. We arrived at the apartment and we were greeted, shown to a very well secured building and a nice basement apartment, perfect for the two of us. It would also be OK for two couples - a bit tight however. But if used for sleeping and getting ready for a day of sightseeing and a night out it is perfect!

The apartment was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels, the linens were provided and fresh and the bathroom clean as well with soaps included. The only thing I was surprised by was the apartment was in a basement, but once we got into the comfy surroundings it was quiet and cozy. The only noise we heard was one time there was some garbage collection at the street and a couple of times a car or two. Otherwise it was very quiet. The neighbors in the building were very polite.

We didn't stay in and watch TV, but the wireless internet was perfect, easily accessed by my laptop and our smartphones.

It was a 10-15 minute walk from many small grocery stores, bagel and coffee shops, busses and the subway. I was concerned about safety in the city but I never felt unsafe in this neighborhood or in the city at all.

It was a great stay with very reliable hosts who asked us if we needed anything to contact them immediately. When we did they responded in a very timely manner.

It was an awesome trip to NYC. We stayed 5 days and would have loved to stay time!
