Great weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

What a great place to rest, relax, and use as a base to travel from! It was the most comfortable bed my wife has ever slept in. And that means I slept well too!

The house is on a quiet cu-de-sac just steps from the Petaluma creamery and store. Great ice cream, fresh dairy products.

Great place to stay with gracious hosts, thanks Stephen and Karen!

What a great place. The cottage is very comfortable. Lots of room in the kitchen. The bed is very comfortable. Lovely bathroom and shower. We loved it and will definitely be back the next time we're in Petaluma. Stephen and Karen greeted us with hugs and were so welcoming. We recommend this cottage with great enthusiasm!

Charming Cottage is right!!!

  • 5 of 5

This may be the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in! Comfy, small unit in back of a residence. We drove down the driveway and Steve met us before we could get out of the car and helped unload our luggage. Unit has nice TV, full kitchen with everything you need, comfortable sofa and bed. Walk-in shower is roomy. Plenty of quality towels and wash clothes. Steve and Karen let you know they are a knock on the door or a phone call away for their beckoned service. Highly recommend this Petaluma rental.

Excellent location for Sonoma/Napa base, immaculate rental

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights as our base for Sonoma/Napa. Easy drive from SFO and due to a delayed flight, we arrived fairly late in the night but Stephen and Karen were responsive and polite when we let them know we would arrive later than we planned. Once we walked in, we were greeted by a very clean, welcoming home after a long, exhausting journey from NYC. We enjoyed walking to the Tea Room Cafe down the street for morning coffee, and exploring the local downtown area for nice restaurants and groceries at the Petaluma Market for meals at home. Sonoma/Napa vineyards were less than an hour drive away and we didn't have to stay in a super expensive hotel to experience them. Kitchen was nice and spacious and was stocked well with glasses, plates, and olive oil. We really enjoyed the complimentary local beer, water, and snacks. Stephen recommended stopping by Lagunitas Brewery on Fri night and we loved the laid back vibe and live music with local brews. Would highly recommend this rental for couples. Thanks Stephen and Karen!

Relaxing comfortable stay in a great town! Loved Petaluma!

  • 5 of 5

This place was spacious, comfortable, spotless and well equipped. The owners are very accommodating. We wished we were able to stay longer. Petaluma was awesome, there are a lot of unique stores and several antique stores but one in particular made me think I had died and went to heaven! Highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip in the area. It is just a short drive into San Francisco and you have all the wineries you will ever need within 5-30 miles. Thank you for the great hospitality we will choose this place again.
