Enjoy lovely breezes and pleasant bay views from this 3 bedroom, town home that sits high on upper Franklin st. The unit has gleaming wood floors throughout and is bright and airy. The living room is on the top floor with sliders to a deck with bay views. Other extras include a roomy eat-in kitchen, 2 parking spaces, free wi fi, 4 tv's with cable and use of a washer/dryer. Commercial street and town beaches are just a short walk away.
We had an amazing experience. Claudia was great and made sure we had all the information we needed. The place was perfect and exactly what we wanted. It is walking distance to so many places on commercial street but still far enough away to have quiet mornings and evenings. The place was very clean and plenty of space for six people. Definitely recommend staying here!
Quiet,clean, and high on Franklin St hill about a 10 min walk from Boatslip. Beautiful view from living room. Owners great to work with and very responsive to questions. Totally enjoyed our stay.
It is an easy walk to town (about 10 minutes). You can see the bay from the balcony. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!
It's obvious from any map that the location is good. It's high enough up to be cool and breezy even during muggy weather at the wharf. It's very well designed, on alternating half levels, so there are discrete areas when needed, but it's easy for a group to be together too. Having the bedrooms on the lower levels and common rooms upstairs allows enjoyment of the light when and where you most want it. Much better than expected from outside the front door, which has very low "curb appeal," resembling the kitchne entrance of a restaurant. I failed to notice that a dishwasher isn't mentioned in the listing, which might be a bigger disappointment to some renters. The washer/dryer is through one of the bedrooms, which makes it difficult for everyone to make use of. With these advisories I would recommend it to a friend or relative.
We were 6 adults staying at this condo. It really is a great place and the location is perfect - you can walk everywhere. We rented bikes for the week and were able to lock them up behind the house in the bike rack. We loved the fact that each bedroom was on a different floor. Lots of bathrooms too! The kitchen was reasonably well stocked although there is no dishwasher or blender, which would have been nice, but was not a big issue for us. The balcony and BBQ are a little small, but the view is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out there every morning. Claudia was very helpful and responded to my questions and requests very quickly. Overall we really liked this place and would love to stay there again!
First: this place is CLEAN. But also modern, well appointed and spacious for our 5 member family. It is a 5-level townhouse with the following levels:
1st: queen and full bath as well as washer/dryer
2nd: twin beds, entry
3d: King Bed, full bath
5th: Living room, deck overlooking Bay with grill (and 2 pull-out sofas)
Beds were comfy, Linens aplenty, ACs worked when we needed them (not all the time with the nice breezes blowing through); kitchen well appointed with appliances and dishes (and clean!!); livingroom is cozy and we spent time there watching movies or playing scrabble. The neighborhood is quiet but two blocks from Commercial St and restaurants/shopping. Parking for two cars. Love the keyless entry lock.
We found the owner/manager to be accessible, but not underfoot (which has been an issue w other rentals in Ptown).
This is a great home-away-from-home which we hope to continue to use on our annual trips to Provincetown.
Guests will be provided with a renter's agreement upon receipt of final payment. This agreement will provide information on entry into the condo as the combination on the electronic lock may be changed during the course of the summer.
The condo is accessible by ferry or car. By car, guests should travel east on route 6 and turn left on Shankpainter Road, right on Bradford St., right on Franklin St, and left on Creek Rd. There are two parking spaces directly in front of Unit D.
By ferry, guests will arrive on MacMillan Wharf. Walk up the wharf to Commercial St, turn left and walk to Franklin St. Turn right on Franklin St and walk two blocks to Creek Road and turn left. The condo (unit D) will be on the left.
