Guestbook comments from the manager

We came here for our 4th wedding anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place. The cabin was very clean and quiet. The view from the back porch is beautiful. Formerly we lived in Pigeon Forge so we knew this locatin was not far from attractions. (Pigeon Forge,Gatlinburg, etc.) The Hot tub was perfect. I quess the back porch was our favorite place. We ate, drank coffee everymorning and just enjoyed the peacefullness. Thank you for your hospitality. We will be back!

Good location. Enjoyed being further away from things.

It's was a quaint and quiet area. There was another cabin and house very close by. Luckily no one was in the cabin by us so we did enjoy the peace and quiet. Only downside is they ask you to clean before leaving the cabin while your on vacation. Overall we had a nice trip and enjoyed our stay.

Way off the main road!

This was a great place for the peace and quiet we were looking for. The road leading to the cabin was a bit of a challenge but we enjoyed it. Cabin was very clean and cozy. The hot tub was a real plus. We will plan on another visit.

Very Nice

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was extremely nice, everything was just like it is in the picture's and description. Debbie is very easy, and a pleasure to work with. Enjoyed everything about the cabin. The road to the cabin is a little rough the last mile of the trip, so make sure you take it slow. Would suggest 4x4 during the winter month's as it could get tricky. Otherwise was an excellent cabin and could not ask for anything better, will definitley be back in the future.

Just What We Needed

  • 4 of 5

This mini trip was exactly what our family needed. Cabin was very clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. Beds were comfortable, loved having two bathrooms. The view from the deck was AWESOME into the mountains. The hot tub was clean, cozy, and relaxing (even in 30 degree temps) We had a wonderful time playing board games and hiking around the property. The price was great.

Suggestions: Install a dishwasher, or if that is not feasible, provide a larger dish drying rack with cup holders.

Provide a place to put burned ashes/charcoal from grill,

Install removable shower heads so cleaning the bathtubs from the well water residue is easier.

OVERALL: I would return and this was a wonderful retreat for my family :) Thank you for letting us share your mountain hideaway.

After spending a couple of days debating whether to take our RV or looking for a cabin, Debbie made our decision for us. Everything about the cabin is exactly as she described, including the hummingbirds that greeted us each morning on the back deck. The front porch swing was well used as was the hot tub. The grandkids loved playing in the yard and especially enjoyed making smores in the fire pit. (Thank you Debbie, they loved the marshmallows you left for them). We have traveled to Tennessee almost yearly for the last 10 years, but I must say this was the best trip. We will definitely be back to Mountain Laurel Ridge. Debbie, thank you for everything, I enjoyed our chat and although we didn’t meet in person, I feel I have a friend in Cosby!
