Welcome to our cozy beach cottage! Steps to ocean with public beach access, 'party size deck' with view of waterway to enjoy morning coffee or evening sunset views with glass of wine. Unlike condos, we have a yard for the kids to play, or to enjoy a cookout, and parking for up to 5 cars. Walk to the harbor to watch the fishing boats come back with their catch, walk to restaurants with outdoor seating and live music.
Privately owned and managed this is a single family home that offers easy beach access, dining room, large deck and fully equipped kitchen to cook all your favorite meals including a microwave and filtered water. Washer and dryer are also included in the rental. A home away from home!
We rent this cottage on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday, but may be able to accommodate shorter stays in the off-season if you check with us about a month before you plan to arrive. We know you will love our home and to make your vacation more stress-free we included linens/towels during your week stay.

Carolina Beach holds a special place in our lives. It was the location of our first trip as a couple. Our kids have grown up playing in the sand, bonfires on Freeman Park and Britt's Donuts.
This is a great house in a perfect location - everything we needed for our family of 5 and then some. Beautifully updated and furnished and exceptionally comfortable. New flat screen TVs and fantastic mattresses - a great night's sleep. The wonderful deck and view were a favorite spot for all of us. Close to beach and all other amenities. Really can't think of a thing that would make this home a better choice for a wonderful vacation!
I can't say enough good things about this house. It's all you could ask for in a great vacation home. Very well stocked (and not with junk), beautifully decorated and well maintained. You can see the pride of ownership in every detail. Walk to the boardwalk, but still quiet, super easy beach access (ramp over the dunes) and plenty of things to do in the area. Thorough and responsive owner provided outstanding service. Comfortable rooms, modern amenities, great value. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation rental.
GREAT HOUSE close to the beach and a great porch with very nice furniture to sit on with family and hang out or have coffee in the morning. Very close to boardwalk could walk easily if you wanted to. The house was very nicely decorated and clean and was a perfect house for my family. Lots of parking space. I would recommend to anyone to rent this house. The owner was very quickly to respond to emails and answered all my questions before my arrival. Hope to go back to this house next summer.
This was the perfect house for our stay. It was so close to the beach and while I wouldn't always recommend it, we actually left our chairs and stuff there to go back and forth to eat. Our kids couldn't do the walk to the boardwalk but its a very short few minute drive. We went to the Aquarium, the carnvial, battleship and still had tons of beach time because everything is so close. The deck was awesome for us to get up and watch the morning with our coffee. This house had everything and the owner is amazing and helpful and answered all my questions promptly. It was very sad to leave.
We just got back from a 5 night stay at this adorable modernized cottage. It is just steps away from the beach, making walking back and forth with a toddler a breeze. We loved how accessible it was to everything and spent nights BBQing and enjoying the deck that overlooks the sound. The owners were very lovely to work with and every detail is thought of.
We can't wait to come back!
We loved being so close to the beach and Carolina Beach is great--not too crowded and the waves are just right. The Dunngalow had everything we needed. I only wish that the trundle bed aligned more evenly with the daybed to make a king bed, but it wasn't too bad. It is a very smart layout and very nicely decorated. We loved watching the sunset and enjoying dessert on the deck! The owners are very easy and pleasant to work with. They made sure we had the pack 'n play we needed and a gas grill. We had a great time.
Other Activities: NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher. Ferry to Southport, close to Wilmington for the Battleship.
