Owner/Manager purchased this cabin in 1998
This cabin was delightful. It is very clean and comfortable for a small family. We loved the open living and kitchen area with a wrap around deck accessible from the front door and a kitchen slider. We had a lovely vacation here with lots of hiking trails, beaches and little markets within a close distance to the cabin. The kitchen is well stocked for making meals at home and the beds are very comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Location just what we were looking for. West shore location a great slice of Tahoe. Beaches at Emerald Bay, Meeks, or Chambers. Hiking in Sugar Pine Point right next door, or Eagle Rock, or Homewood ski area. The cabin was equipped with all your kitchen necessities. Deck was perfect for relaxing dining and drinks . Had a wonderful worry free weekend!
You must bring your own towels, but other than that, kitchen is well-supplied, Mike and Shelley are very helpful, and it is oh-so-quiet and lovely!
Definitely the most charming little cabin. Even though it's a little small, it was perfect! Better looking than the pictures online. We all felt at home & enjoyed it very much.
The only downside was ( and maybe I just couldn't find it ) but I didn't have the address to the house and had a hard time finding it. The address was not located anywhere in the emails. Good thing we got there when there was still light & were able to locate it by the pictures & the map where it showed where the cabin was located. Some cobwebs but overall very clean. I wish there was a screen door for the balcony, too. I would definitely book it again. Thank you!
This cabin was perfect for us. Not super fancy but nice and clean and very affordable. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio and although we didn't use it, there was a BBQ. We happen to have friends nearby so the location was perfect for us. Great neighborhood for walking or riding bikes. Pizza and gelato nearby. Although the owner requests only five guests, there really is sleeping for 7 plus the sofa. The kitchen and bath are nice (not super fancy but great water pressure and decent stove, microwave, blender, toaster, and every thing you need other than bath towels are provided). Wifi was great. We will definitely stay here again.
We really appreciate the owner Shelley for making accommodations for our last minute weekend getaway. This was a very nice cabin in a great location for bicycling and hanging out around west Lake Tahoe and Sugar Pine Point State Park. The only drawback - the bed was quite a bit too firm for us, so the second night we spent on the trundle and sofa.
