The Sonoma Bungalow is set under the giant oaks of California. This recently remodeled 2 bedroom home is surrounded by nature. Trees are seen from every window. This peaceful retreat is beautifully decorated with art and artifacts from the owners travels around the world. It has hardwood hickory floors covered in oriental carpets, a travertine tile bathroom with views into the trees from bath or shower, skylights, hand-tiled wood burning fireplace, and all new kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and gas stove. There is a 32' inch flat-screen TV, access to Netflix and Pandora (no cable for those who want to escape a bit of the real world), and high speed wifi.
There is a queen-size bed in the main bedroom with lush down bedding, and a full size bed in the second bedroom (note: the second bedroom is small and cozy!). The bungalow is located 3 miles from the Sonoma square in a quiet, residential neighborhood with mostly owner occupied homes. The street is filled with old, live oak trees and in the winter a babbling creek flows through the property. During the summer months all you can hear at night is the sound of crickets.
After a day of wine tasting or exploring the Sonoma/Napa Valleys, return to your retreat, park behind the gated entrance and cross the bridge to rest under the oaks, relax on the expansive redwood deck or dine outdoors under the shade. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful warm Sonoma days and evenings.

Gianna moved to Sonoma from the Bay Area 8 years ago and enjoys the quiet area, kind neighbors and great food. Sonoma is the perfect location: 45 minutes to SF, 1 hour to the ocean, few hours to the snowy mountains!
This property is special for those wanting a taste of living in Sonoma in a quiet neighborhood. Short walk to coffee shops and the lovely Sonoma Mission Inn Spa. Very relaxing and everyone who stays can't wait to come back!
My wife, sister, and brother-in-law stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it! The place was exactly what our group was looking for (clean, comfortable, and provided easy access to wineries in both Sonoma and Napa). Highly recommend!
We had a great stay at this lovely bungalow. It really feels like a home rather than a vacation rental and I'm sure that's because it is. The design and artwork are beautiful. The outdoor deck is amazing and we spent a lot of time there. Typically we stay near the Sonoma Square - I was happy to be away from the tourist activity and hidden away in the trees. When you add up fees and cleaning the house came out to over $400 ... you pay for the pleasure of Sonoma but I'd much rather be in a house that hotel room.
A beautiful and charming property - wonderfully decorated with treasures from the owner's world travels. You can relax inside or out, while being only minutes away from Sonoma Square and world-class wineries. We had an incredible stay and highly recommend this property.
We had a great time staying at this property. House is super cozy and comfortable. Owner was quick to respond to any inquiries and was very accommodating. Would absolutely come back.
Our party of four adults had a wonderful and relaxing visit to the Sonoma bungalow this past weekend. The property feels rural yet you are only minutes from downtown Sonoma. The house is artistically decorated and felt very comfortable. We loved sitting on the large patio and spent hours there talking. The house is set way back from the street and felt totally private, lots of birds and even saw a baby fox run through the creek area. We would definitely return again, lovely visit!
Wine tasting, hiking, biking, horseback riding, fine dining, spas and endless wanders around Sonoma County.
