Valley Isle Resort 1105 is located on the beautiful west shore of Maui, Hawaii between Kaanapali and Kapalua on beautiful Kahana Beach. The quaint whaling town of Lahaina is only ten minutes away with its many shops and restaurants, and upscale Kapalua is only five minutes away.

Our one bedroom, one bath, non-smoking condominium has been beautifully remodeled, refurnished, and decorated 'island style'. Our spacious large lanai has 'postcard' spectacular oceanfront views of the island of Molokai!! The resort's heated pool and barbecue area is surrounded by manicured tropical gardens. A large state of the art fitness center adjoins the resort and guests can access it for a discounted nominal fee. Parking is free and there are elevators for accessing upper floors. Just step outside the building and onto a beautiful sandy swimming beach with Molokai and Lanai prominently displayed. Within walking distance are many fine restaurants including the renowned Roy’s Kahana Grill Restaurant,and the Outback Steakhouse!

In this area of West Maui, you will find sun soaked beaches and fabulous tropical scenery. Sit on your private lanai and relax watching the ocean, the swaying palms, and the gorgeous tropical gardens. In the winter and early spring you will be treated to the whales frolicking in the ocean with their babies!!

We have enjoyed vacationing in Maui for 20 years and we purchased Valley Isle Resort 1105 in 2004. We also purchased a 2bd/2ba condominium on the Kaanapali Golf Course - Kaanapali Royal Resort G301 in January of 2008.

We chose the Valley Isle Resort location because of the extraordinary oceanfront view and location and moderate prices. In addition, there are several restaurants and shops within an easy 2 block walking distance.

Valley Isle Resort is beautifully remodeled and appointed and has spectacular views of Molokai and Lanai. The oceanfront location is great for sunbathing, snorkeling, swimming, or surfing.

This place is nice inside and out. The view from the balcony is great for watching sunsets and relaxing. Only downside is there's no air conditioning in the unit but if you open the doors a nice breeze comes through. Highly recommended!

Very nice place!

This place was very nice, we are looking forward to visiting again. the view from the back patio was awesome. DT Fleming Beach is very close and allot of fun especially since it is just 5 minutes down the road if that. Front street and other attractions are just a short drive away which was nice.

all in all it was very nice and I'd recommend to friends.

Just perfect!

My fiancé and I stayed here for a week in mid-July and absolutely loved it! (He actually proposed out on the lanai and it was absolutely beautiful!) The views from the lanai were absolutely incredible. We loved that we had the option to do laundry inside our condo if we needed to and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook everything from pancakes and eggs to pasta. Additionally, the trash chute was right outside the condo, which was very convenient in the sense that we didn't have to go all the way down to the main floor to dispose of our trash. As for the resort itself, it was very nice and the landscaping was beautiful! The beach was literally right outside the building and the communal pool was refreshing! However, something to note... Although it is listed in the overview, it is important to note that this condo does not have air conditioning. We were fine with that as there are plenty of fans in the condo to keep it nice and cool, two ceiling fans in the main living space and one ceiling fan in the bedroom as well as an oscillating fan. But, if you are someone who is sensitive to heat, I would recommend renting a condo with AC. Tropical storm Darby "hit" (not too bad) during our stay and for a couple of nights it was very humid and the condo was a bit warmer... Just something to think about! I cannot say enough good things about this condo. I know that a lot of people turn to reviews when looking for a place to stay... We were the same way and we were very thankful for all of the reviews, so I'm hoping this helps someone else make a decision! I would 150% recommend this place! We had absolutely no problems with check-in/entry into the condo and the owners spelled literally everything out for us, which made the visit stress-free and very enjoyable. We can't wait to go back hopefully very soon!

Very nice condo with marvelous ocean view.

We've stayed at Valley Isle Resort before and like the location. Few people have mentioned that this location in Kahana almost always has a nice cool breeze. I know that some people might shy away from a condo without air conditioning, but we have never felt like we needed it with the marvelous breeze that blows through this complex. This unit is pretty well equipped including a couple of boogie boards. Dishes could be enhanced in number, but are OK for a party of two to four. The balcony could've used a couple of extra chairs to make a total of four. The bed was comfortable, and the furniture was nice. The unit was very clean. Internet worked fine. Would recommend this property to others. The real feature of this unit is the incredible view. Thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the balcony watching the ocean!

Close to perfect

Everything was great except for 2 Keurig coffee maker and the bedroom does not open to the ocean. The bedroom window opens to an inside breezeway. There is a beach but better beaches down at Kaanapali.

Owner's Response: I am sorry to report this guest is out of touch. We offer a coffee grinder and a drip coffee machine so a guest can grind "fresh beans" to order for their morning coffee. Keurig coffee modules are old and stale, having been in a warehouse for days or weeks. Our bedroom is not advertised as oceanfront, but the living room and lanai are oceanfront with spectacular ocean and island views. Finally, condominiums on the large Kaanapali Beach with all the shops and restaurants there are significantly higher priced than the Kahana Beach area. Those wishing such amenities know they must pay the price. Jeff (owner)

Great property! Great Trip!

My wife and I chose this property for our trip based on the location, price, and features. We wanted something with a real kitchen = this property has a great kitchen with everything we needed!, beach front and swimmable beach = appeared good online (more below), and a location that was away from the crowd but not too far to make dining difficult = this location is great for the most part, not far from Lahaina, other restaurants nearby, beautiful view!

I'll throw out my two "issues" first off. #1 the beach is not usable at this time. Together with the property next door the beach front has completely disappeared compared to what seems to show in photos and internet aerial imagery. There is work being done (at least next door) to shore up the lawn area and possibly re-establish the beach but during our week the entire beach has construction fence blocking it off and we couldn't even find a way down to the beach. About 1/2 way through our stay a palm tree next door fell over due to the erosion. Once morning we awoke to a plume of red/brown in the ocean where what appeared to be an attempt at shoring up the neighboring sea wall had seemly failed and sand and soil was washing out to sea. OK, enough on that, the only other issue was parking. There was enough parking but the spots are quite narrow. Even a full size car takes some finesse to park and those driving a jeep or SUV have to choose which line to park on top of. I am sure this is typical as real estate is at a premium but it does make for interesting parking experiences.

Overall, this is a great property which I would recommend to others. The building owners will get a handle on the beach issue I am sure and the parking is a minor distraction. Once in the unit we had no issues. Everything was clean and in order, Wifi worked flawlessly, No issues with the infrastructure (plumbing, electrical, etc), We used the washer dryer which was a great feature!
