Welcome to Valersk Vacation Apartments, a family owned and managed property which offers comfortable, high quality and affordable accommodation. Whether visiting Barbados for business or pleasure, Valersk Vacation Apartments offers the ideal atmosphere for you. Located in Enterprise, Christ Church, on the south coast of the island we are within sight of the historic South Point Light House. The layout and position of the property provides visitors with privacy but also allows for the entertainment of friends and the accommodation of groups.
Valersk Vacation Apartments consists of two (2) two bedroom and four (4) one bedroom self contained fully furnished apartments. Each apartment has one/ two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, sitting/living area and patio. Our facilities include:-

In addition to being a calm relaxing place of stay for visitors exploring Barbados’ sights and attractions, Valersk Vacation Apartments provides information on local events and activities and offers assistance to visitors in vacation planning and booking of activities such as island tours and visits to historic sites. Provisions can also be made for other services such as car rental and airport pickup and drop off.
Valersk Vacation Apartments is ideally located to give visitors to Barbados the complete island experience with some unique features. Located between Atlantic Shores and the Enterprise Main Road, the property lies in close proximity to the village of Carters Gap, a traditional Barbadian village in the residential area of Enterprise, a 10 – 15 minute drive from the airport.
It offers a tranquil, peaceful and serene environment within touch of village life but remains within close range of the bustling recreational activity of the south coast of the island.
The property is located just about 3 – 4 minutes drive from the popular Enterprise Beach also known as “Miami Beach”. Miami Beach offers the best in sea bathing, sun bathing, water sports and relaxing. Do you like to surf? The “Point” and “Round Rock” which are known as venues for surfing are less than five minutes drive from Valersk Vacation Apartments.

Valersk Vacation Apartments is named after and located next to the family home 'Valersk' where I grew up. The apartment building was originally constructed as a duplex with one apartment for my occupation and another for rental. Some unoccupied space was subsequently converted to four one-bedroom apartments for vacation rental.
On average, I visit and stay in my apartment on six occasions annually and would often invite friends to stay with me. i really enjoy the quiet, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and the privacy which results from the orientation of the property. The breezy, spacious patios are ideal for entertaining and relaxing.
We have stayed in many different apartments all over Barbados but we must say Valersk Apartments is up there with the best. From our arrival where we were met by the lovely Queen of the manor Valencia, our apartment was a home away from home. We wanted for nothing and Valencia went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we made. We stayed for 3 weeks and although I have lived in Barbados for many years before returning to England this was my first trip back with my daughter and I can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we both have ever had. The apartment was comfortable, clean and refreshing and we have grown attached to it we didn't want to leave and if we could have folded it up and put it in our suitcases trust me we would have . It was truly our home everything was within an easy distance so much so that thoughts of renting a car soon went out of our heads. We took a lovely stroll to silver sands beach to watch the sun rise and ended up walking for 2 hours seeing many sights, monkeys and various sights such as the lighthouse along the way at one point we thought we may have been lost but once we asked a question we realised we were only one road away from 'home'. Miami beach is a short ten to fifteen minute walk away depending on how fast you walk and you will see many of the older generation out for their early morning run greeting you as they pass. Oistins is a short distance with the route taxi which is all part of the experience , stopping at the top of the gap and if you are lucky they may just drive down the gap and come and pick you up . There are a couple of shops down the road in case you need a sprite to put in your rum and to our delight a couple of houses away is a Friday fish fry and karaoke on a Saturday night if you have no energy to go too far. Valencia is a diamond we 've adopted her as one of the family and are sitting here as I type planning our next visit which will be very soon. Although Valencia will check in to see if you are okay or if you need anything she isn't intrusive and we looked forward to seeing her . We would recommend you stay here , you have the privacy , the lovely view and cool air conditioned rooms . The kitchen is a nice size with all modern utilities , there is a laundry room, and a good sized parking area for your visitors. We felt like celebrities in a five star hotel SEE YOU SOON ...
We stayed at Valersk Vacation Apartments in a one bedroom end unit for 12 nights over Cropover and absolutely loved it !!!
Located in a quiet residential area, my unit was clean (as in immaculate), spacious and well-kitted out. Large windows in the end unit means that you don’t feel closed in even if the windows and doors are shut. There are a/c units available in both the bed and living room areas for additional cooling if needed - though we found the stand fan sufficient to keep us cool most of the time.
Each unit has an outdoor seating/dining area and laundry facilities are available for guests – both of which we took advantage of. A full-sized refrigerator, stove and ample counter space makes preparing your own meals (should you wish to do this) easy.
While a car is convenient, it is not absolutely necessary. The road for the bus/minivan is a few blocks away and Miami Beach is slightly further walk (mostly along the coast).
And I couldn’t finish my review without mentioning Valencia, the Property Manager. She was friendly without being intrusive, and knowledgeable on local events and activities.
I have been coming to Barbados for the past 8 years, sometimes twice per year, and I have stayed at a number of different apartments. I would strongly recommend Valersk Vacation Apartments and I hope to stay there on my next visit to Barbados which I am planning for later this autumn !!!
Property as described on advertising, very clean, spacious and comfortable. On arrival I was greeted by valencia who was extremely friendly and welcoming, she really made it feel like home to me and my family & my 2yr old loved her. I would definitely without a doubt recommend this apartment. Everything is within easy reach, shops beach, buses, ZR taxis, restaurants.
I hired a vehicle as it was just my preference and this apartment has a massive driveway.

These apartments are in a quiet, safe area. The property is beautifully kept and the apartments very clean and comfortable, just as the pictures show. There is a 'shop' just a block or two away and the fun of a beach or Oistens is just a few minutes further. I rented on short notice and was extremely grateful to find a wonderful place to stay that took only a few moments to reserve. When we arrived Valencia was there to greet us and get us settled in. She was very accommodating and provided information about the local area. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family. I will also look to it on return trips to Barbados.

Listing is accurate, highly recommend. Oistins 8 minute drive. Also recommend Brown Sugar restaurant, good price, fantastic Bajan food. Valencia Moore, the Manager, extremely helpful and always provided prompt responses. She went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The apartments are as advertised, -- very clean, well furnished, with comfortable patios where you can enjoy the island breezes. There is a city bus route quite near to the unit, although the buses run only from 7 -11am, then again 3-7pm for $2 Barbados (or $1 US) per person. You can also walk several blocks to the main road and take the ZR mini buses (the rides on the min-buses can be rough); then there is the regular taxi service - very good. The water in Barbados is very good to drink - you don't need bottled water unlike many other places. Food can be expensive, both at grocery stores and restaurants. The best grocery prices are at Big B. We took the blue city bus to Bridgetown, and across from the market is a large grocery store with good prices as well, and you can find many items in small quantities which is great for tourists. We dined out some days, and cooked at home the rest of our stay. Location of apt. is about 15 mins from the airport. The beach is about 15-20mins walk, very short ride by bus or taxi.

This was my first trip to Barbados and I was extremely satisfied with the apartment that we rented. Valencia was very friendly and was willing to help in any way that was needed. The apartments are very clean and close to a lot of activities. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk and the party-zone of Oistins is not much farther than that either. It was a great choice and I would recommend this to anyone that wants privacy with the close proximity to great sites to see.
We will definitely stay at these apartments again when we return to the island.
The property is located away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the highway and main road but is within easy access to shopping and recreational centers on the south coast of the island.
