Our week vacation was awesome! The home was more than I expected. Fully applianced kitchen, although the microwave was broken-we made do. The bedrooms are very large , along with the two baths. Nice open floor plan in the kitchen and living areas that open up to a large deck overlooking the lake. Fishing was great! Nice size perch, and bass! My husband caught a bass that he estimated to be 5 lbs - he does a lot of fishing too! The sunsets were beautiful, the morning lake with "fog" covering it -so peaceful. You've got to check out JJ Goodwins too! Great place to eat - 5 minutes away on Rte 28. The water is nice, but murky-my youngest like to snorkel but couldn't see under water. We definitely want to go again next summer!
House fits description, you have all necessaties for a stay. It is located close to a shopping and lake Winnipesauke. You need a license to operate a boat in NH. If you have a boat or a canoe, better bring it with you, so you can use it on a lake.
My friends and I had an amazing weekend here this month. The house had absolutely everything as advertised and more! The kids had a blast swimming right on the property and it was perfect for storing our kayak. The views were beautiful, neighbors friendly, and there was a great bigger beach area a short walk down the street with swings for the little ones. The inside of the house was extremely clean. I would definitely recommend this house for a fun, relaxing weekend!
The house is very large we were a family of 4 and a large dog and there was plenty of room. Just a couple of small complaints no boats or floats had to purchase some floats for the kids to use and the screen door needs new screen. We found many things to do in Weirs Beach, Alton, Wolfboro and Gilford.
The place is much bigger than we had anticipated. The fireplace was awesome and heated the whole house for us. The only issue was the lower floor bathroom didn't have a shower. So only one shower. There was an awesome bar about a mile away.
We loved the house. It was overly accommodating for the 6 of us and our big dog. The weather was perfect. My boyfriend caught a HUGE bass in Lake Locke. There was not only one but 3 socks to lay on. Plenty of room for our small boat. Apple parking for our cars. Only bad thing I could say was the deck chairs we older and one did break while sitting in it. Bring your own chairs if you want to make sure your comfortable on the deck or near the water.
