We stayed here for my wife's 40th birthday weekend and we had a great time. The townhome is exactly as advertised. Read the reviews there is a reason why this one has so many positive remarks. We hope you love it as much as we did.
A total of 5 of us came to Savannah for a bachelorette weekend getaway. The property had everything we could want. We loved having coffee on the gorgeous patio in the mornings. The stereo system allows you too hook up your phone and play music throughout the house through built in speakers. We enjoyed having room to stretch out and felt very comfortable. There is only one shower, but that didn't pose any problems during our short stay, we just had to plan who would shower when. Janet was accessible throughout our stay if we had any questions. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this property to anyone coming to Savannah!
"Sweet Georgia Brownstone" is a fully appointed home, decorated in keeping with it's history. The back garden is a great place for a barbecue and an evening drink.
The unit is within easy walking of the historical district and the river walk.
Make sure and visit the Rock cafe/bar on top of the Bohemian Hotel.
Thanks Janet for looking after an easy entry and helping us with an enjoyable stay.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and on a very nice, quiet street. It's in a very walkable area -- we walked to river street, Forsyth park, city market, and everywhere in between. Plenty of linens and towels were provided. A book listing things to do in Savannah as well as stores and restaurants nearby was a particularly nice touch. The outdoor patio was great for breakfast. We would definitely stays here again. Overall a great experience!
My family spent a long weekend in September in Savannah at the sweet Georgia brownstone. The location of the brownstone is perfectly situated in the heart of historic Savannah on what Southern Living has called the prettiest street in America. And boy are they right! Jones Street has beautiful old live oaks dripping in Spanish moss and stately historic homes. The brownstone couldn't be more charming and met all of our needs. The house was immaculately clean, with plenty of towels, sheets, and even fresh coffee and bottled water. The downstairs has a great kitchen with all the cooking equipment you need and where we cooked several meals, a comfy living room with TV and large cable package, and a half bath. Outside is a charming back patio where we ate dinner both nights under a beautiful canopy of trees and twinkle lights. Upstairs is a large master bedroom, walk in closet, and "sleeping porch" which was perfect sized for our daughter. Janet was a wonderful and responsive host. And Savannah was beautiful, the weather was great, and we walked everywhere within 10 min of the brownstone. We will be back often and I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in Savannah!
The property was well appointed and maintained. If I was to point out any issue, it would be to update the bed frame as it was very squeaky but all in all a very nice experience.
Savannah, GA is beautiful, historic and artistic.
Founded in 1733, Savannah was the new world's first planned community. Wander through twenty-two squares landscaped in azaleas and live oaks dripping in Spanish moss.
Every major event in US history touched the city. Visit a Revolutionary War Battlefield and the house Gen. Sherman occupied during the Civil War.
Used as the location of many major motion pictures (Forrest Gump, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Something to Talk About, etc.), it is now the location of the Savannah Film Festival every fall. And in the spring is the Savannah Music Festival.
Fifteen miles from the Atlantic Ocean at Tybee Island, GA, and two and a half hours from Charleston, SC, Savannah is perfectly located to enjoy all manner of recreation. Savannah is a perfect vacation spot for every interest in your family.
