About Doug Ahmann
We've lived in Port Angeles for 41 years and feel privileged to call this beautiful area our hone. We love to share this amazing place with our guests. Doug is a retired accountant and now a handyman, and JoDee is a retired violin teacher, and now a life coach. We both are also enjoying our new role as grandparents. We love the outdoors--hiking, fishing, kayaking, and exploring.
Doug Ahmann purchased this House in 2006
Why Doug Ahmann chose Sequim
This beautiful home became available when our friends who built it had to relocate. We thought it would make an amazing vacation rental, and our guests agree!
What makes this House unique
Staying at this home is absolutely peaceful and refreshing. It is a place where you leave behind stress of a busy lifestyle and rediscover the beauty of the sea and mountains all around you. You discover time to read a great book, put together a puzzle, or go on an adventure on the beach, in the mountains, or anywhere else on the Olympic Peninsula!

Our favorite place to stay in Sequim!
This is our third time staying at this property and it's our very favorite place to stay in Sequim -- the location is amazing, the house is comfortable and beautiful, and the owners of the property are accommodating and quick at communicating. Our kids and our dog love it here and we do too! We'll definitely be returning in another couple of years and we already can't wait!
What a comfortable, cozy home with several amenities to offer. The views are unparalleled - the Olympics so large and magnificent to the west and in the east, Mt. Baker and the cascades. We went out and bought binoculars to experience the wildlife - the resident telescope had been damaged and was in the process of being replaced.
Our two dogs had a grand time taking walks in the neighborhood and along the beach during hightide. When the tide is out, be prepared for masses amount of kelp and seaweed drying in the sunshine..
Great property in a fantastic location. Close to hikes and saw plenty of wildlife! Five stars !
Great Doug was available and easy to communicate with him!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was warm and inviting and we didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you for everything!!
Perfect place for my husband and I and our teenage boys to escape for a few days. Thank you!
Instant access to saltwater beach. Beachcombing and great beach walks. Incredible views over the sea to the north and Olympic Mountains to the south. Many possible local activities include hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, fishing, etc.
