Extremely private setting hidden down a long driveway. Spend the day at one the nearby beaches with the family or just BBQ in the backyard and relax in the hammock. Quiet enough for a writers retreat and close enough to all the beaches, restaurants and fun adventures that make this area a scenic destination.

The Calendar tends to default to the lowest winter seasonal daily pricing instead of registering summer weekly prices, so to AVOID any confusion and/or frustration please see below.

$3200 per week divided by 10 = $320 per person for the week.

FAMILY AND KID FRIENDLY. This property (despite its romantic listing title) is not fussy and filled with fragile antiques that you have to worry about breaking. Its welcoming and the pieces, especially in the Summer during the rental season are primarily decorative and help make the space unique and add character. I can explain in further detail if need be, but please don't feel like you have to be on your best behavior and bring out the white gloves.

The lovely Vilma and her crew arrive to clean the house and switch all the bedding between 10 and 10:30am to make the house perfect for the arriving guests.
- No one likes to arrive at a property/rental/hotel and have everything not be ready for them. Please be mindful of the check out time so that Vilma and her staff are not cleaning around you, and that she has the time and access needed to fully "reset" the Farm properly for our next guests. Thank you for understanding.
We are laid back but extremely attentive. I own an antique shop and my partner Mark and I are currently updating and modernizing this Gentleman's Farm one step at a time, keeping all the charm the property's been granted.
The location is situated amid acres of horse farms and stone walls, away from the touristy hustle bustle, but very close to both east and south facing Rhode Island Beaches. A five minute car ride or a leisurely 20 min bike ride will get you to both Narragansett Pier or Matunuck. The Block Island Ferry in Galilee is 10 min away and is a great day trip for the whole family. Fishing tours, boat rentals and surf lessons are all close by too.

We love weddings. We've had a few here at The Farm. They were really beautiful and went incredibly smoothly. Not a single issue arose and the bride/groom and every guest were exceptionally respectful and well behaved. That being said. The thing is that there are a lot of moving pieces, a lot of coordinating/planning and A LOT of people to keep up-to-speed months before, right-up-until, during and after the BIG DAY. This unfortunately is why we are no longer available as a wedding venue.
This is the way many Airbnb hosts look at it…Comparatively, renting The Farm as a nice intimate family gathering for a lovely week of relaxation vs. hopes, dreams and the years of planning and preparation for THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF YOUR LIFE with a cast, most often nearing hundreds… the difference is immense and the choice is clear. We love you. You will make a beautiful bride/groom, but unfortunately we can not host your wedding.

We try to be as environmentally responsible as possible, please help us by following these guidelines:
This is a non smoking house. You may smoke outside and please be respectful and dispose of any and all cigarette butts .
We have a large driveway, please park accordingly and not on the grass or in flower beds.
Please try and use the air conditioning only when necessary and be mindful to turn off the lights when leaving the house. And I know this is obvious to most people, but please do not run the A/C with the windows wide open. duh.
Our sanitation is a septic system, do not put any food, oils, down the drains. Use only toilet paper in the toilets.
Garbage and recycling is located in the driveway, pickup is very early on Friday mornings, please plan accordingly and put all of your trash and recycling out to be picked up on Thursday night. We live in a remote area with wild animals, please make sure trash is in waste receptacles and covered.
