We were so excited when this home came on the market and are so honored we were able to purchase it. It could not be a more perfect vacation home for our Mountain Area as that is what it is built for. A true cozy, custom cabin in the woods. :-)
Surrounded by towering trees, steps away from the National Forest and a perfect house for a lovely vacation.
It was very thoughtful of you to provide the sufficient blankets, soft toys, many toys, utensils and a very clean and tidy home to stay in. We loved it. We will visit again, and definitely spread the word. Thank you very much for understanding what guests need so that they do not really have to call the hosts with requests. Best wishes to you and your family. :-)
We were delighted over and over again during our stay at Nature's Haven. The owners provided info on all sorts of local things to see and do. We opted for the hike to Bass Lake, which our kids were able to manage. My 5 year old was so excited by all the toys that were available, and they kept him very entertained. The place was very comfortable for our family - the space on the ground floor is very open, which makes it nice for the times when you want to be around your family. The bedrooms are spacious and are a great break when you want to just lie down.
I'll make this short and sweet. The house was really nice. It was cozy, everything was provided and mort importantly for me, I felt safe and secure. Owner was very nice and always communicated whether to let me know about something or if I had questions. House was clean and most of the things worked. I say most because not all was perfect and there were things that were a bit annoying. For me, I like to cook and I wished the kitchen was a little more stocked with tools for that. Another thing, and I admit this is picky, but the remote for the TV only works if you point it directly at the TV but that means standing up and raising your arm. However, these were not deal breakers and we had a really good time staying here. I recommended it highly and will definitely being booking here again in the future.
Our stay at Natures Haven was absolutely wonderful. Bass Lake, Oakhurst, Yosemite, all within driving distance. Hot tub, wifi, and full kitchen were all great amenities. My only complaint had to be the fact that some parts of the house had spiders. However, I did kill most of them on the first night and they never returned. With that said, I still highly recommend!
We stayed for 2 days 3 nights at natures haven. Good comfortable accomodation. Surrounding countryside is stunning with lots of vistas to stop at to look at the view. Stopped on the way to Yosemite for a ride on the sugar pine railway, great for train enthusiasts and children. Drive to the park is fairly long and road was very busy. Good supermarkets in the town, so we barbecued mostly. Used the hot tub but found the water a little over chemicalised,(we have one at home in the UK so are not unfamiliar with maintenance required to keep the water quality in balance). The road alongside the property is busy at times and traffic is fast moving something to be aware of when pulling out of the road. But overall the veranda was a great place to chill, pity we didn't see much wildlife but that couldn't be helped. Home well equipped would of liked a kettle to boil water for tea/hot chocolate but a saucepan sufficed.
I normally don't leave reviews. Butttt, I just want to say that we loved staying here and that Terri was exceptional. Very grateful for our time there and our overall amazing hosts! Highly recommend staying here!
Enjoyed our stay in this spacious cabin nestled in the woods. Fairly close to Yosemite (30 to 40 minutes) which we visited each day of our stay. Everything is supplied to allow a relaxed vacation. Previous guests sadly had not been thorough when washing plates and cutlery etc but one load in the dishwater sorted this.

Please note, my homes fees are based typically for a party of two in off season, (a couple sharing one room) as couples are the majority of travelers in off season and I feel they should not pay the same as a large party. By accepting my couples rate you agree to keep the middle guest bedroom and bath closed off and not used. If any additional guests the fee is $25 per guest after two per night. Any additional guest brought into the home without permission forfeits your deposit as well as the guest fee still having to be paid. Thanks for your understanding.
