This comfortable and large two bedroom and two bath Park Station condo is located on Park Ave on the north end of Main St. The property has an outdoor pool and indoor hot tub.
Park Station Condominiums are conveniently located on Park Ave on the north end of Main St. Main St with its restaurants, shops, bar and galleries is a short walk away. The Town Lift is only a block away and the free bus stops right in front of the property.
This unit is a two bedroom/2 bath. The master (lock off) has a queen bed and master bathroom. The second bedroom has two twins. There is a sofa sleeper in the living room for additional sleeping space.
Great location to the town lift and discount on rental right at the lift. The beds were not the most comfortable and the twin beds were small, I am only 5'3. In addition, the sheets needed to be upgraded, they were very scratchy. The other issue was the highway noise on the side we were on, but only if the windows were open. But overall, we enjoyed the stay, you cannot beat the location and the rest of the condo was very nice.
Park Station is located right at the bottom of historic Park City making ideal for restaurants, bars, and equipment rental. I wouldn't call it ski in/ski out but it's steps from the town line lift chair. The condo is in serious need for updates though. Some of the fixtures are in a bit of disrepair and the beds are the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. Really hard to have a good day on the slopes when you're exhausted and sore from how phenomenally bad these beds are. No one in our group could sleep in them and we ended up fighting for couch spots at night. I mean how bad does the bed have to be when a 6 foot tall 200lb man would rather cramp on an oversized armchair or sleep on the floor then in these beds. Do yourself a favor and find a location with better sleeping arrangements. Not a good price for what you're getting.
We really loved staying here. It was just rightfor our family of 6. There were a couple little hiccups. We were told we could check in at 4:00 pm and were supposed to receive a 10 digit access for our room door. However we never received this and finally around 4:30 had to call the management company to receive this information. Also the front door code number and pool number we were given was incorrect. We were able to get it straightened out though and enjoy our stay. We were hoping the unit would have had a DVD player cause it was a little rainy and we stayed indoors a couple of days. Other than these things the unit was very enjoyable for our family.
This clean apartment is located within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and shops. It is nowhere near a grocery store. It is quiet and comfortable.
There is a real fireplace and it works well. The CD player does not work. The two alarm clocks do not work. The mattresses are great. There is a nice balcony which would probably be fun in warm weather. People were using the outdoor heated pool at night so it must have been a comfortable temperature.
When I rented the apartment, I expected a brisk confirmation as apartments were filling up due to the ski season. Since no confirmation came to my computer, I spent a fair amount of time sending messages asking for confirmation of the reservation secured by my payment. After about ten days of uncertainty and after leaving numerous messages (telephone and electronic), I did finally get a telephone call from the real estate management company pointing out that if I had read the entire rental agreement, I would have known that confirmation would not necessarily be forthcoming until approximately ten days before the start of my rental period. I would have vastly preferred earlier confirmation because even though I had paid, the time lag between payment and confirmation suggested there might be some uncertainty as to whether my payment was accepted and whether I could plan to stay in the apartment. The realtor with whom I finally spoke sounded irritable and harried, as if he was pursuing exciting deals and just barely had time to manage this apartment. Of course, had confirmation been completed earlier, I would not have had to call him repeatedly nor would he have needed to call me back.
Overall, the condo was in very good condition and clean. Nice size. F.irly spacious, Close to down town shopping. Easy to get around Park City. The outdoor pool & hot tub were very nice. The indoor one is under construction. The pass code key system is nice, where you don't need to carry a key, just remember the code. The staff was very helpful when we had some problems initially getting into our condo (didn't get sent the pass code like we were supposed to). The internet does not work with lap tops only tablets. Don't know why this would be the case, but 3 different lap tops couldn't connect but 2 tablets could. Nice Condo. Would stay here again.
