Great Cabin & Location

  • 5 of 5

This property had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of beds, charcoal grill and good seating around a cozy fire pit. We were also able to explore Acadia quite easily. Bar Harbor was a good visit and also enjoyed going to Southwest Harbor and Tremont. Easy access to good seafood like at Rose Eden Lobster Pound. Cabin owner was very prompt and friendly…a pleasure to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect Maine retreat

  • 5 of 5

This beautifully spacious cabin in the tranquil wilderness was only a few minutes drive from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It had amazing curb appeal as a rustic log cabin with impeccable landscaping but the interior was updated, clean and so well decorated. There was even a piece of art hanging on the wall with a rendering of the actual cabin on it. The kitchen was large and open with all the amenities necessary for cooking a large feast and the dining room table was able to accommodate our large party of six with ease. That living room chair was my favorite piece of furniture with a soft grey fabric and incredible bounce. The 3 bedrooms were all perfect size and the master on the garden level was absolutely huge. The water pressure in the upstairs shower was impressive and all six of us were able to take a shower everyday without ever running out of hot water! The surroundings were so peaceful and tranquil that you felt completely secluded except for the one house you could barely see off in the distance through the trees.

The covered porch was perfect for lounging and we all remained dry even while the rain poured down. One of my favorite memories was making s'mores on the outdoor fire pit and enjoying them on the outdoor picnic table. We were never disturbed by any neighbors and found this location to be an ideal comfortable retreat. I can not wait to go back...for two weeks next time.

Owner's Response: Charlie, sounds like you all had a great visit and saw the island at a great time of year! Making s'mores outside with the fire pit sounds absolutely wonderful. Glad you all took advantage of the amenities at the cabin -- please come visit again next year!

Wonderful place to stay while exploring Acadia

  • 5 of 5

Clean, nicely laid out and decorated. Perfect for our Columbus week stay. My husband and our 9 year old son took the upstairs bedrooms while the other couple traveling with us took the master suite downstairs. It offered everyone some privacy and separation while offering perfect communal space for shared breakfasts and evening conversation. Close to everything in Acadia; we couldn't have been happier!

Great space

  • 5 of 5

2 couples enjoyed our stay in lovely cabin. Spacious, clean & well appointed. Close to Bar Harbor & entrance to Acadia National Park. We give this cabin a 4 only lacked a couple more reading lamps in bedrooms.

Great place to stay and enjoy Acadia

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed at this cabin for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly what we expected. The cabin also had a pack and play which was a plus for me as a parent of a toddler. It is close to Bar Harbor - about 6 miles. Highly recommend this place.
