Location, location, location! If you are looking for a space in the heart of downtown Austin, you do not need to look any further. With plenty of space to accommodate groups, 1 secured parking space, and the ability to walk to everything, the Austin Standard is an ideal place to call home during your next visit to Austin, Texas.

The Standard has 3 bedrooms downstairs. The master suite features a king-sized bed and in-suite bathroom with a shower. The other guest rooms on the lower level have queen beds, and there is another bathroom, which has a shower over tub. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with 2 queen beds, as well as a reclining sofa on the landing. The bathroom has a shower and jacuzzi soaking tub. Overall, the entire space is about 1,500 square feet, so there is plenty of space to entertain.

All of the bedrooms have televisions, and the living room has a large screen display that can be viewed from any angle. Cable television is provided, as well as free wi-fi. There is a wood burning fireplace, a wet bar, a balcony looking over San Jacinto Street and facing the Frost Tower, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and refrigerator with ice maker.

For that reason, I enjoy having guests staying in my rental properties, and I want to provide so much more than just a place to stay. My goal is to create a memorable experience for my guests. I want my guests to know that not only does Austin deliver a good time, but that this home away from home is waiting for you. With my connections in the travel industry, and tenure in the city, I strive to provide a level of service you will not find with other rental managers.

Great place to stay with a large group!

Overall, it was a great experience. The host was very organized prior to the stay so we knew exactly how to enter the building and where to find everything. The house was also stocked with kitchenware, toilet paper, extra towels, etc. The apartment is gorgeous and spacious - it was perfect for a big group new to Austin because it is within walking distance to Rainey, 6th and other popular locations. Had a great balcony as well! My only piece of feedback for the host would be to have a more flexible check in time (ie: if the apartment is vacant prior to a stay, the group can check in at 12pm vs the normal 3pm time). Makes it easier to coordinate travel! Highly recommend!

Great location for a bachelorette!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend with 10 girls and it was perfect for our needs! GREAT location - walk to everything downtown (E 6th & Rainey St.) and it's right across the street from a Marriott with a cab stand if you do need to travel further. The place was spacious with plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably, get ready for nights out (3 bathrooms was a plus) and hang out in the open living space. All basic amenities were provided and the place was very clean. They were also very accommodating about early check-in and responsive if we had questions or needed anything. I would definitely stay here again!!

Austin Standard is Austin Awesome!

This was our 1st VRBO rental so I was skeptical at first. The Property owner, and property manager both welcomed us with open arms from start to finish. The rental contract was well stated and concise.

The condo was exactly as described, and its more comfortable and roomy than the pictures show. Very clean and well maintained, and has everything you might need for an enjoyable stay.

It is within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and eat in Austin, and the bicycle rentals took us to the places further away.

We had 8 adults and a toddler there for 9 days....with plenty of room to spare. We had a fabulous time!!!!

Huge apartment in the heart of downtown

We had a great time staying here for a few days. Slept six of us easily. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and they had plenty of towels to use. We didn't really use the dishes but it had the basics you would need.

Walking distance to 6th street and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

Highly recommend this apartment.

Excellent Location

Excellent location - easy access to everything. Owners were very responsive to requests, questions and issues. One thing to note unit on 3rd floor so a bit of hiking up and down stairs.

There are tons of fantastic bars and restaurants at your doorstep when you are staying downtown, but there is also easy access to the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail, as well as all of the sops along South Congress. Be sure to watch the bats fly at dusk from the Congress Bridge on your way back. Walk to the Capital, and get your groceries at the Whole Foods corporate flagship location. There are tons of excellent live music venues, including the Moody Theater, which has been rated one of the best in the country.

The condo building has a strict noise and trash policy. Please note that noise violations are taken very seriously, and carry fines that start at $250 and quickly escalate to $500 per incident. Further, trash cannot be placed outside of the unit door, or in the public trash cans. All trash must be kept inside of the unit, or placed in the dumpster in the parking area to avoid issues and fines.
