Very private beachfront house
We fell in love with the 'family' islands in the Bahamas after a trip to Exuma. So much so we wanted to own a beach house on one of them. After sampling several islands we decided that Eleuthera was the best for us.
Rachel purchased this House in 2013

This is our second time to Eleuthera - we have visited several islands and Eleuthera is our favorite. Rachel has by far been the best and quickest communicator at any place I’ve ever stayed- from the time I booked and during our stay if I messaged her she responded within minutes. We lost power for a couple of days which also meant we had no running water or back up plan. This was an island thing, not a two dunes thing. Rachel compensates is for one night because we retreated to a local hostel to get some AC and a good shower. The place could use low key maintenance and perhaps a back up generator, But you can’t put a price on its location! Plenty of good- snorkeling right in front of the house. It’s very private with an occasional beach comber. We showered outside every night and weren’t worried at all. In all I was very pleased and thankful for Rachel’s hospitality. Unfortunately had little to no communication with Natasha . Every time I would have to message Rachel. And that could simply be an island phone service thing.
Do not underestimate the bugs- they will eat your breakfast lunch and dinner and tote you off .... but if you are seriously looking for heaven on earth..... book it
We love this house and its beautiful private beach! The owner and caretaker do a wonderful job of keeping their visitors happy. We highly recommend this house! If it’s your first visit to Eleuthera, buy a beach guide, bring your GPS, and plan to explore the island. There are tons of gorgeous beaches with nobody else on them.
What a fabulous, breathtaking property in a remote location on a beautiful island! The house was perfect and just like advertised. The property manager Natasha was helpful and her Bahamian Lobster meal was enough for two meals! The privacy of the beach was perfect for a romantic getaway and so relaxing! We will be looking to revisit this property soon! Well worth the money! Thanks Will and Rachael!

This place is a secluded paradise!
Beautiful Beach and Comfortable Studio
Great Location! So enjoyed our two week stay at Two Dunes. Loved being able to go out through Double Bay or Banks Road depending on where we were headed that day. Also loved walking the whole stretch of Double Bay several times and walking to Unique Village at low tide. Did not visit nearby PawPaw beach until the end of our visit but enjoyed a good snorkel - fish, barracuda, sand dollars and sea urchins. Made the trip to Lighthouse Beach (our 4th visit there) and it seemed super quick from this location. Also went to Spanish Wells for the day and visited the 3 beaches at the top of the mainland. But I digress.....back to Two Dunes
Bed was super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, multiple spaces/chairs to relax on the beach or the deck, Natasha was wonderful and prepares yummy and plentiful meals.
We still have many beaches left to explore on Eleuthera and hope we will be able to book Two Dunes for a return visit. We really enjoyed the beach and the proximity to Governors Harbor, as well as, Savannah Sound and Tarpum Bay.
And last but not least, Rachel was very easy to work with and responsive to all our questions!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are glad to hear you had such a pleasant stay, and hope to see you back!
This house was great. It is very well stocked and the location is the best!! The home is very private, we only seen a couple people on the beach walking by during the day. One day they had a couple drive and get out but they only stayed a little while and stayed a long way away from us. The house does have some wear and tear on it but that's what one should expect when staying in a home right on the beach. We ending up getting married while here and everything was perfect. We had a private chef come in and cook us a 5 course meal and he had everything he needed in the kitchen to do so. We borrowed books from the library which was nice. We only used the TV a couple times but they had plenty of movies to choice from. The road to get there is a little tough at first but once you are used to it you can fly through it with no problem. There were bugs but it is the tropics, bring bug spray. We went to other beaches on the island that had way more bugs and trash, after that we never left our beach again.
Tips: ICE! use the ice trays they supply to make ice with bottled water. Ice on the island is very expensive. Go a little ways down the beach and you can easily get in and out the water with no rocks. Go to the Farmers market, great items there, loved the salsa.
