My wife and I spent the month of February in this condo. Pictures on the website are an accurate representation of the unit. Very clean and comfortable unit. As others have mentioned, the proximity to restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy can't be beat. Easy walking to whatever you might need. Rosangela and Omar met us on our arrival and were responsive at all times, whether it was before we arrived or during our stay in this unit. The Ocean Manor property built in the mid 1950's certainly shows its age with the wonky elevators that seem to break down frequently. Having said that the building is clean, the parking valets and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. On the whole the building is very quiet which allows for a good sleeping atmosphere and because this unit is on the 7th floor the noise from the Tiki Bar late at night is not a concern. The pool and beach are great and are of course a short elevator ride away. All in all if we were ever to return to Ft. Lauderdale we would certainly consider this condo again. Thanks to Rosangela for making our holiday a worry free experience.

2 star stay at the beach

I have to say that the location next to the beach was the best of this place, the Tiki bar is really nice and convenient if you just want to relax at the pool or at the beach. About the property I would suggest some improvements, one of the rooms had a wonderful view to the beach but unfortunately the AC was dropping so much water that we had to dry the bathroom floor every day. Some cockroaches found in our arrival in the kitchen and bathroom, I suggest a fumigation and a better cleaning, the kitchen drawers were really dirty not giving a good impression. It would be nice to have the main basic cleaning products such as dishwasher, enough toilet paper and garbage plastic bags. The bathroom in the 2nd room was ok but it would improve if you change the shower curtain and the shower drain. Good that you had 3 Tv's every family member were able to relax at nigh time with out fighting for the remote control :-)

Owner's Response: TO ANYONE WHOM REEDS THIS NEGATIVE E-MAIL . Please, pay attention and DO your own judgment. I was there with my husband to do the check-in for this family, the real reason for these negative review is because they should pay me upon arrival with a cashier's check, money order or cash, as mentioned many time in my e-mails exchange with them , but. . . . upon arrival, they have a "PERSONAL CHECK" ! ! ! I CAN NOT TAKE A PERSONAL CHECK FOR THE FINAL PAYMENT , THE OWNERS DOESN'T LET ME. I was so upset, and gave them a hard time, all adults, they should know better the rules of the condo rental, and even when this is stated in your RENTAL AGREEMENT There was a moment when I said, that I could not accept the personal check ( because in the past we got checks that bounced !) I am the responsible person to get the payments the form the owners of the units want it, NOT WHAT THEY WANT ! But an older man, he was the grandfather, or the father of the person that exchanges e-mails with me get into the conversation and said : I HAVE MORE THAN $70.000 IN MY CHECKING ACCOUNT !!!!!!!!!! (THE PAYMENT WAS FROM HIM) THAN I SAID :Sir does not matter how much money you have or how rich you are, the problem here is that you all DID NOT PRECEDE THE WAY YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO DO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband that is an incredible person(much FLEXIBLE THAN I AM), said : OK, we'll take it and hope everything WILL BE OK WITH THE CHECK. They were so UPSET ! because they really think I have the OBLIGATION TO TRUST THEM !!!! AND I DON'T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2ND PART : I showed them them rooms, everything was impeccable , no complains at all and before I left I said : if you need me for anything, please, call me, ( I was living for New Jersey) but people were in the area to do anything or help them in any way. AC DRIPPING ? IF YOU DON'T SAY, OR CALL ME I CAN'T GUESS ! ABOUT ROACHES ? NO ONE EVER COMPLAINT, BEFORE ! I WAS IN THE BUILDING ALL DAY, I COULD CALLED THE GUYS THAT TAKE CARE OF IT ! WE THE OWNER, FUMIGATE EVERY 2 WEEKS AND THE CONDO ASSOCIATION, ONCE ON THE MONTH. ABOUT THE REMOTE CONTROL, WE LEFT 1 FOR EACH TV, WHAT ELSE CAN I DO ? THEY DID NOT COMMENT ABOUT IT, BECAUSE FOR SURE THEY LOST ONE AND FOR SURE WE WOULD CHARGE FOR IT . And they said up here we were very kind, can you imagine if we were BAD ????? THIS IS NOT A REVIEW YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN TRUST, NOT TRUE AT ALL. PROBLEMS WITH YOUR UNIT ? DON'T WAIT TO LEAVE TO COMPLAINT .

PERFECT AMAZING PLACE!!!

Oh my goodness! My husband Mom and I just returned home last night from this beautiful condo with amazing views!! The balcony was our preferred spot when we were inside! We did not want to leave and will definitely return to this condo again!! There were plenty of towels beach towels and linens as well as beach chairs boogie boards and beach toys for the kiddies. The kitchen was fully stocked. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Roseangela and Omar were the best!! Very accommodating and helpful! Don't be skeptical if you are a first time VRBO user this is the real deal!! The property is a hotel and resort with a great 24 hour coffee shop and the tiki bar is phenomenal!! The staff are all super friendly and the food is delicious! There is a Winn Dixie, liquor store and shops right across the street. A short walk to many many restaurants and shops at commercial blvd. what a perfect location!!

Positive and Enlightening experience! Location+

We just returned from a week at this rental. This is an amazing spot for beach lovers, not only could you enjoy the view laying on the bed but also iisten to the ocean waves hitting the shore throughout the night.

The pool is great and the beach a few steps down is even better.and the resort, while older is sufficiently & meticulously maintained.

Everything you need is withing walking distance, which includes Lauderdale by the Sea with all their shops and restaurants, CVS, Walgreen's, Publix, and some fast food eateries The on site Bamboo Tiki Bar and Restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. It was also very family friendly the period I stayed. The apartment had internet connections in the room, at the pool and at the restaurant. The condo owner was very accomodationg and great to work with!!! We miss the beach already!
