My husband, Jack, and I have lived in most areas of Victoria over the past 25 years and have found that James Bay is the perfect place to live. We love walking on the Dallas Road waterfront, through Beacon Hill Park or into the middle of the city to shop or visit our favourite restaurants. Both James Bay Village and nearby Cook Street Village afford wonderful places to browse, eat or sit and watch the world go by. We enjoy traveling and meeting new people. When away from home, we have found that we are happiest when we can have a comfortable 'home base'; somewhere we can unwind for extended periods of time and can avoid daily interruptions from housekeeping staff or the need to eat out three times a day. We have recently purchased this property from Josie (mentioned in the reviews) and we are excited about offering the same experience to you.

Best VRBO! best location in Victoria!
Best location- walking distance to DT, Beacon Park, Cook St Village. The place is highest quality, quiet, very comfortable beds, a very well stocked kitchen, great hosts...the best VRBO we have stayed in thruout several cities. Perks of a steam shower and jet tub after long hikes!
Great location. Fabulous amenities.
Comfortable. Fully equipped. Love the steam shower and backyard BBQ sitting area. A sunny calm space right downtown!
Close by to everything. Owners are wonderful.
Great place to stay in Victoria
Very nice home fully equipment to meet all needs. Kitchen was well stocked and had high quality cookware. Bathrooms had a steam shower and a jacuzzi! Beds were very comfortable. Home is located in a neighborhood which is vey quite. Owners took time to meet us when we arrived. Would highly recommend. Looking forward to staying again next time in Victoria!
Much better than a hotel
We were two couples in Victoria for a wedding. This condo is beautiful as well as being super clean and comfortable. The kitchen is totally equipped for having snacks and drinks as well as making full meals.
The location is superb. I cannot walk long distances and yet it was easy to walk to the ocean, Beacon Hill Park, grocery store etc. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Empress and the tour boats. The owners are on property and very helpful. For a peaceful glass of wine, you cannot beat sitting in the small garden near the fountain.
Clean, comfortable and close to downtown!
We had a fantastic time seeing all the sights within waking distance and then returning back to this home. Kids loved it here and they did not want to leave!
The kitchen was definitely well stocked with every gadget and was nice to have all the necessities in the bathrooms and for laundry. We didn't have to buy a thing except our food.
A wonderful time in Victoria! Hopefully it won't be another ten years before we make it back.
