Our 3 bedroom condo was a sales model featuring high end Robb & Stucky furnishings and decor. For the first 3 years the condo was used exclusively by the owners during the USA winter months. It's preferred second floor location provides a view of a classic swimming pool used primarily by adults and the impeccably maintained landscape courtyard from the master bedroom/living room deck. Throughout the Pacifico complex there are 3 additional pools including a 25m lap lane, lagoon pool children's zero entry wading pool and Jacuzzi. New to the pool areas is food and drink poolside service.
The open condo floor plan has a large living area perfect for family and friends to gather. Surrounded by large palm trees, the balcony has dual 10 foot koolaroo, full coverage, shades making a private outside haven. The master suite king bed has it's own large flat screen tv. The in suite master bath has two sinks and a large shower. The second and third bedrooms both have a queen bed, generous closet space and separate bathroom with shower. The living room sofa can be folded out to a queen size bed.
Q: Can you suggest a car service to pick us up and drive us back from Liberia airport 17 miles (26 kilometers) away?
A: Taxi service is available the airport to the condo for approximately $50 one way. The taxi stand is in front of Auto Mercado grocery store outside the main gate of property. To hire a taxi walk to the taxi stand and direct the driver to the condo entrance.
Q: Is the condo walking distance to the beach, supermarket and restaurants or should we rent a car for the week?
A: Local activities, bars, restaurants, shopping, beach in Coco are within walking distance or a short inexpensive taxi ride, however to fully experience as much of this beautiful country during your stay you will want to travel outside of Coco. Excursions can be arranged through tour companies if you do not want to rent a car. Driving in Costa Rica is similar to North America however most roads are 2 lane. Rural roads are usually gravel/rock with and somewhat rough. Cars should be rented at the airport upon arrival as there is no car rental agencies in Coco. We suggest including a GPS in your car rental package as Costa Rica does not have a street sign system. Parking at Pacifico and in Coco is free.
Q: You have several washrooms in the condo, is there only one shower?
A: There are two full baths, both with large showers. There are no bathtubs in the condo.
Q: Is Wifi included?
A: Yes, attached is our 'Key's to Condo' that includes the WiFi access code
Q: Are there free gym facilities at the condo?
A: Yes, there is a local gym in the Pacifico Retail shop near the entrance. No, it is not free, however, the owner has provided discounted weekly rates to guests staying at Pacifico.
Q: Do the pools get crowded this time of the year?
A: The pools are rarely "crowded" and there is poolside service from the bar & grill to lounges, chairs and even to condo. There are 4 pools to choose from. Guests at the condo also are authorized to use the Pacifico Beach Club pool for an additional Guest fee paid direct to The Club at time of it's first use. It is located approximately 1.5 miles away and accessible by free shuttle service at designated hours. The Pacifico Beach Club offers 2 small swimming pools, beach access, lounge chairs, cabanas and a full service restaurant.
Q: Can you suggest some zip line, bike rentals, tourist attractions we can book when we arrive?
A: Yes, after receiving your reservation dates and car rental plans. Even after staying in Costa Rica for over 12 months during our 3 years of winter snowbirding there we still have a list of new 'to-do's' on our next visit. Never an idle moment in this country, unless that's what your objective is while enjoying the panoramic environment.
Q: Is there a payment or travel protection plan that you offer?
A: The HomeAway/VRBO travel protection payment for property is made through the “Book It” link on the listing website. They also provide explanation of what is included and not included.
Q: Is all of the money due up front or can we pay in installments?
A: Payment in full is required prior to check-in. Our guests also have the option to pay on-site at time of check in using a major credit card or PayPal. Any on-site payments made direct to owner do not include the travel protection service offered by HomeAway/VRBO.
Q: Do you require a security deposit?
A: Yes, $500, an initial rental deposit, will block out the requested rental dates to assure they are not made available to any other party. Upon receipt of payment of rental payment this rental deposit is held as a security deposit until you've checked out and property inspection is completed.
Q: Does the rent fee include access to Pacifico's Beach Club?
A: Yes, the Beach Club restaurant and bar is open to the general public, but use of the clubs two swimming pools and ocean side lounge area has a separate fee that is paid directly by condo guest(s) to Club at time of first use. The separate fee varies by term of use (either daily, weekly or monthly) and guest age (under 18 are free when accompanied with adult).
