About the property

Cabin 3: 1 Bedroom,1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4, Free Wi-Fi

Our log cabin is built with a nice slightly rustic feel but yet not without today’s conveniences. Each room is individually climate controlled just for your comfort. They each have a full bathroom with shower stall and a corner kitchenette with coffee pot, microwave, hot plate and a small fridge (dishes and place settings for 4 included). All rooms have a queen size bed, a fold out love seat and a dinette set to enjoy your meals at or do business while away from your office or home or you can enjoy a early morning sunrise on the front porch.

"Please see our other listings VRBO #4699321, #4699339 and #4699351".

The cabin is like a small hotel suite. It measures approximately 260 square feet. Visit for a photo of the layout of the cabins. Please be advised that the second bed is a pullout sofa. If you're trying to sleep 4 people with the same comfort, you're probably not going to find it sleeping on the pullout. There are 2 buildings with 2 cabins located in each building. If using the pullout, some room rearrangement will be necessary. We do not have television in any of our cabins.

Be advised that the business name is Post Oak RV Park and Cabins, so we have RV Guests as well as cabin guests. We are only 15 minutes from Baylor and we are located in the country, but the time for you to get to your particular location at Baylor will depend. Close to Homestead Heritage for food and shopping.

About James Polich

Jim and Michele Polich are experienced RV'ers and have enjoyed camping since 1999. They recently purchased Post Oak RV Park and Cabins and hope to make it a family adventure, along with their 7 children.

James Polich purchased this cabin in 2012

Why James Polich chose Waco

Quietness. There's not much commotion at Post Oak RV Park and Cabins. You can be sure to get the rest you need. The occasional vehicle traffic is the only noise around. We are looking forward to adding improvements in the near future. We would like to add a BBQ area for all guests to use, a dog walking trail and kennels for the cabins for guests with dogs.

What makes this cabin unique

Unplug from it all! We are not off grid, but if unplugging from technology is on your to do list, then you found the right place. Very close to Homestead Heritage and The Ploughshare Institute for Sustainability. Shopping, fine crafts, dinning and classes offered for people interested in homesteading.

Cozy little cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We travel to Waco frequently and were ready to stay off the beaten path but not a long driving distance from all of the activities and this was Perfect! We felt removed from the city but were actually 12-18 minutes from everything. The park is pretty, intimate and very well maintained. The cabins are appealing both inside and out. Very clean and comfortable! It is clear that the owners take pride in their properties and they make everything about staying there very easy and accessible.

Great little cabin for a quick getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is very nice and easy to get in and out of. Check in and out was a breeze. We were suprised that it is part of an RV park and there were many RVs close by. Didn't notice that from the pictures. It didn't really matter to us because we really just used it for sleeping. Kitchen area is nice, but limited in functionality. Again, we didn't use it at all, so it didn't bother us. Bed and room were very clean and comfortable.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. We appreciate your staying with us! Just for clarity, the following is in the detailed description of the cabin: "Be advised that the business name is Post Oak RV Park and Cabins, so we have RV Guests as well as cabin guests." We are glad this didn't effect your stay, but we do state it in our listing. Thank you Again!

I give this place a 5 star because it was EXACTLY what it said it would be.

  • 5 of 5

I may watch too much TV and count on my music heavily, both of which are not included, but in the end it relaxes me and we played a lot of cards and listened to my ipod.

If you want to just relax and listen to nature for a while and truly get away from stress this is the place.
