Beautiful and charming cottage
We had a lovely relaxing stay at the cottage which was very comfortable and charming. It was ideally located very close to White Park Bay beach and the stunning causeway coastal route, with so many beautiful and stunning locations and landmarks within easy distance. Rosalind was so welcoming and very informative of the local area. She was able to advise of everything from beautiful coffee shops and restaurants to visit to off the beaten track scenic walks. We had a fantastic time 😊
Wonderful people very accommodating
Beautiful area out standing hosts
Made us feel welcome. I would rent from them again!!!
A perfect way to experience the north coast of Northern Ireland
A perfect accommodation for a visit to Northern Ireland. Cozy, comfortable and with a historic flavor, my wife and I found this cottage to be the highlight of our trip, right down to the peat and wood fire that provided heat every evening. Beautiful rural setting, but conveniently located close to the town of Bushmills and the Giant's Causeway. As it is off the beaten path, try to arrive before dark. Rosalind was so helpful and even provided us with food from her kitchen after we arrived late our first night. If you really want to experience the culture of the north coast, stay in this wonderful cottage!
Great place, great location!
We spent about a week at The Coves. Rosalind was a most generous host, with her time and sight seeing suggestions, with plenty of firewood, and fruit cakes because we liked them so much.
The cottage is quaint and very Irish in appearance but it is very comfortable and has all the conveniences for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring the North Coast and if the weather cooperates (which it did for us) there are some great coastal hikes. Accommodation-wise, The Coves was the highlight of our trip.
A welcoming and quaint dog-friendly cottage near the north Antrim coast
We had a most enjoyable stay in The Coves and were made most welcome by Rosalind and her husband John.
The cottage proved the ideal base for our short trip and is suited for couples or families, with one double room and another with bunk beds.
The sitting room and kitchen is very nicely decorated, combining the old world charm of a traditional Irish cottage, including a wood burning stove, with modern conveniences of a cooker, microwave, fridge, dish washer and coffee maker.
Rosalind had stocked the kitchen with bread, homemade jam, fresh milk and orange juice, as well as fuel for the stove. She also gave us information as to dog friendly places where we could eat with our dog.
The cottage is ideally located for visiting the north Antrim coast and its beautiful beaches, the Giant's Causeway and the Glens.
Fantastic cottage - book it
Cottage is very idyllic, charming, comfortable and well kept. Location is excellent next to whitepark bay beach. Welcome pack of pancakes milk and jam was a nice touch, and hosts were lovely and extra helpful. Great for kids. Better than many hotels and guest houses if you need some space and appreciate a personal touch. Would stay again!
Coves' Cottage enjoys a rural setting 1½ miles from spectacular White Park Bay beach on the Causeway Coastal Route, a 10 minute drive from the Giant’s Causeway, the Olde Bushmills’ Distillery and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. The charming costal towns of Portstewart, Portrush, Portballintrae, Ballintoy and Ballycastle are all within a 20 minute drive. Rathlin Island and the Glens of Antrim are also within easy reach, making it an ideal base for touring the area or relaxing and enjoying the views.
