This is the reason I chose to purchase this place. The views of the ocean span from Del Mar to La Jolla. If you are traveling with a large group, I have another property very close (walking distance) which accommodates 5 additional guests for larger gatherings.

I've been a resident of Solana Beach for over 25 years and have raised 3 children here. I will be able to assist you with any and all vacation needs including buying flowers and chocolates to surprise a special someone.

Why R chose San Diego County

It is a perfect romantic get away or come get out of the cold of winter or heat of summer. Our weather here is usually between 60 degrees to 85 fahrenheit. Enjoy sunrise in the mornings, hot air balloons in the afternoons and sunsets in the evenings. This property boarders Solana Beach and Del Mar so getting around is easy and amenities are abound.

What makes this condo unique

This home is situated directly across from the Del Mar Race Track with ocean views expanding as far as La Jolla. It offers a very open floor plan. You can place your bet and watch your horse run from the private balcony while barbecuing the catch of the day. Easy to keep clean and easy to get around. The kitchen is stocked with high quality cooking tools. We also supply you with spice, oil, sugar and tea. All guests are greeted with a welcome basket containing fruits and essentials to help make your stay more comfortable.

Lastly, the beds are amazing!

Relaxing getaway

After a slight glitch on arrival, Rozelyn went out of her way to make everything perfect- and it was. The condo is extremely well appointed with the kitchen having all the up to date gadgets for those that like to cook. It is an easy walk to the beach and to town. We are golfers and it was nice to come back from the golf course to have a glass of wine on the lanai watching the ocean and the racetrack. We definitely would return!

Immaculate, with great attention to detail!

This is a beautifully decorated and well maintained condo! The location is perfect for racetrack and beach! The weather in Dec was perfect, low 70's! We biked, had delicious food at wonderful local restaurants. Great shopping in unique stores, boutiques. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of condo. We appreciated the quality of kitchen appliances, cookware. Beds are beyond comfortable, even asked Rozelyn for make and model of bed?! Everything in this home is "top notch"! We will definitely be back, and highly recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful, wonderful week!

Awesome Vacation Condo!!

What a perfect and awesome condo. Rozelyn is a perfect host and owner. She takes her time to drop by and meet you to explain a few things. The condo is extremely clean and well maintained. Everyting looks brand new!!! The kitchen is supplied with everything you can imagine and very well organized. Everything is in excellent shape and up to date. The condo is very roomy and not cramped at all. The beds are very comfortable. The master bedroom and vanity area are extremely large and the closet space is awesome!! The living room is beautiful and the leather sofa was perfect!! The view from the condo was gorgeous. We could see the horses from the track practicing every morning. The patio was a perfect spot to people watch especially on the opening day of the track!!! We had a blast!!! Perfect location. A short walk or drive to the beach. This beautiful condo has everything and beyond what you could ask for. The garage has all the beach toys and accessories you would need - chairs, surf boards, boogie boards, cooler, and bikes. Even a refrigerator and freezer that supplies ice packs for the cooler she has for you to take to the beach!! She has supplied a binder with menus and information in the area. Awesome restuarants and cafe's very close by. Rozelyn has thought of everything you could possibly need or want. She is very pleasant and when you meet her it is like you have known her for years. Would highly recommend renting from her and we look forward to next year!!!

Perfect… No Regrets…

My family and I rented this property for a week in June/2015. It was my first time renting from Miss Rozelyn. I usually rent from the another couple due to the fact that I know I can trust them and I know that when I arrive, the place will be clean, welcoming and well-equipped - but that property was unavailable during this time period. I'm pleased to report that we lucked out again discovering this beautiful condo and our very nice hostess. Everything is "as advertised". No surprises except for a few pleasant ones. The owner left a welcome basket complete with a bottle of wine and a variety of healthy, organic snacks. The owner, Rozelyn, stopped by shortly after our arrival for a face-to-face welcome and to familiarize us with basic operations (trash, recyclables, water conservation, expectations, etc.) She was quite pleasant and very accommodating.

Things I liked about this rental: The location is perfect. Solana Beach is a quaint little town but with some bigger city amenities - train station, quiet beaches, supermarkets, Whole Foods, great restaurants, a jogging/bike path, a dog beach, and the best Sunday Farmer's Market I have experienced. It is a stone's throw from I-5 and only 20 minutes from downtown SD. This rental is perfect for those who love to be outdoors and be active. The garage area has plenty of boogie boards, beach chairs, a surf board, and 5 bicycles. The owner has even thought ahead to include optional baskets and locks for the bikes should you decide to ride to the grocery store (which I did). Such attention to detail! The kitchen was modern and well-equipped with a tool box full of just about every utensil you may need as well as quality Kirkland Signature pots and pans. The furnishings were clean and comfortable. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds with memory foam mattress toppers and overhead fans. This unit also has central AC but we never felt the need to turn it on. As you can see in the photos, the condo has been very tastefully decorated with a "woman's touch."

This condo overlooks a main road and the Del Mar Track. Although there is some traffic noise with the front slider open, it never felt obtrusive. Both bedrooms are in the rear of the unit and outside noise was never a problem at night. The complex itself was fairly quiet and without disturbance.

In closing, I would definitely rent this unit again. Rozelyn takes her rental business very seriously with emphasis on guest satisfaction and attention to detail.
