About Vicky Curtis
My husband and I own a boutique advertising agency. We work from a home office. I have a 20 year daughter who also lives here and 2 small white little dogs.
Vicky Curtis purchased this Guest House in 1998
Why Vicky Curtis chose Los Angeles
I think the location for this property is ideal for tourists because we are so centrally located. This is a neighborhood that has an historical look and feel. Very close to the studios if you work in entertainment. Very close to LACMA, the Peterson Auto Museum is walking distance. Downtown is just a few minutes east. Beverly Hills is 5 minutes West.
What makes this Guest House unique
We make sure the guest house is immaculate. We have designer sheets on the bed. We wash all bedding after someone stays with us.

My daughter stayed for approximately 6 weeks for a nearby summer internship. We were worried as she was from out of town and would be alone. However, Vicky and her family made her feel welcome & safe. The place is just lovely and super central. We took nearby bus to explore LA. Rodeo drive, Santa Monica Pier, Korea town, ect, My daughter would actually refer to Vicky as her LA mom, because she would always Check in on her & make sure she was ok.
Thank you so much for your kind words.

A lovely casita
I am a big believer in alternatives to overpriced hotel rooms with few amenities and have stayed in many casitas and apartments when visiting family in Los Angeles. Few, if any, had the quality of finishes, privacy, overall comfort and value of this guest house. The neighborhood is beautiful and exactly where I wanted to be. I easily see myself returning.
Thank you. Please come back anytime. So glad I was able to meet you both before you took off.
Enjoyed being there. Owners very congenial. Would go again
Enjoyed meeting you. Come back anytime.
This is a beautiful home with lots of character, in a nice neighborhood that is close to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very large, with gorgeous hardwood floors throughout. The décor in the home is so nice, especially the plantation shutters on the big windows! We loved being able to all gather around the unique dining room table to eat dinner after a busy day of sightseeing. If you don't want to cook, there are lots of great places to eat nearby. We tried the Sandwich Market and loved it, and also Tender Greens, a recommendation from Vicky, who, by the way, is awesome to rent from and as helpful as they come. She took time to answer all of our questions and gave us lots of ideas and pointers for our stay in the LA area.
My husband, our two teenage children, and my parents were all very comfortable here with plenty of room. This was one of five stops on our 12 day vacation down the coast of California. We were all so glad we chose to stay here!
Many assets for this wonderfully-situated property
Many thanks to the owner Vicky who was welcoming, available, and sweet.
We enjoyed the house tremendously.
It was VERY clean (and I am picky), the rooms were very spacious, the kitchen was perfectly well-equipped with all desired amenities, the beds were comfortable, we had lots of spaces to put our clothes away, the rooms were quiet...
The only flaw would be the lack of water pressure and the aging fixtures in the showers (but again, I am picky). Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect and I will come back!!! Thank you again for a great stay.
Thank you Eric. I will have my husband look into the water pressure when we lived here it was always very good. Maybe it is just a quick adjustment.
Thank you for your kind words, please come back and see us again.
A Great Stay
Everything about this place is perfect! I loved my stay and me and my family could not stop raving about it once we got back. Everything was exactly what I would want out of a place to stay, the rooms were spotless, the service was impeccable, and the experience was amazing. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
So glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again. Thank you!
West Hollywood is very close and the Sunset Strip where you will find music, comedy clubs, trendy restaurants and lots of night life. Downtown Los Angeles which has under gone a massive renovation in the last few years is a few miles east.
If you travel west you will reach the beach via the freeway in 20 minutes. Santa Monica is a very casual and lively community. Bike riding, sun bathing, swimming , and surfing are all popular activities. Universal Studios and Paramount Movie Studios are also not too far. Culver City has become quite popular and has great dining. Beverly Hills is 5 minutes west of us where you can find world class shopping, dining, and people watching. I always tell my visitors to not mis the Petersen Car Museum. Even if you don't have to be a car guy- the classic cars are amazing. This is in walking distance. LACMA is also very close.
