Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
It was a cold and rainy time at the Coast. The home has large windows, so a good view of Ocean is still appreciated. Nice location for shops North & South. Grocery store within walking.
Cute little place and great for the price. Smell of mildew as you first walk in so make sure to open all the windows to air the place out. Short 100ft walk to the beach which is cool. Thrifty across 101 is kind of pricy but close enough to walk. I'd shop at Freddy's in Newport next time. Coffee shop next to Thrift Way is cute but serves truck stop style coffee. Bring your own. Also, no wifi is a bummer.
We stayed 6 days and 5 nights and had a great time at Lincoln Beach. We are ready to go back! The Isle of Capri was nice, clean and cozy. Easy access to the beach and you can even hear the waves from the house. If you like long walks on the beach this house is for you! This house is close to the grocery store, restaurants and shopping. We had a great time the house was awesome!
The view from the house was beautiful, and the walk to the beach took less than a minute. The deck at the house provides a great spot to rest in the evenings and watch the water. The inside of the house was very clean, though it smelled like seafood in the kitchen. No internet connection, and the coffee shop down the road has odd hours and requires purchase for the wifi password.
The heater was broken the first night we stayed in the house, and we contacted the owner immediately. She got back to us the next morning. As we were out that day, someone must have come to the house to fix the heater because it worked when we got home. But we never heard again from the owner, so we were lacking in some communication though the problem was fixed.
If you're wanting more connection to the outside world and/or a busier atmosphere, Pacific City might be a better fit. Lincoln City was a good central location to travel up/down the coast, and disconnect from life.
Overall, nice place to stay. Will definitely try to come back next year.
Positives: easy to find and one block to a great beach. Two blocks to good sized grocery store. Good view. Cute decorations. Telescope is available for whale watching.
Negatives: Beds and bedding needed updating. Musty smell on ground floor that you gradually got used to smelling. Somewhat cold on ground floor (sleeping areas), so pack some warmer PJs.
