This apartment has its own gated patio with grill area, along with a charming sun porch with wicker chairs! Awesome place to have your morning coffee or snuggle up with a book! In a quaint and private setting, this apartment is ground floor and has two bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed and a charming window seat! The second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and can easily sleep 3! This second room has its own entrance to the bathroom. The Living area has a bay window at the end. The living and dining room is one large space. Great for relaxing and enjoying one another. This apartment is air conditioned but also has ceiling fans for natural air comfort as well. The Kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to cook those awesome meals! It has easy access to the outside private patio or the dining room.
Although an apartment, you would not know it by the set up. There are three units here each having individual spaces and entries. Very quiet and private for all!

The patio is completely fenced in and gated.
This apartment has the most wonderful location. Quiet and set back on the property for privacy but easy walking to absolutely everything in South Haven! Just park your car and enjoy a short two block walk to South Beach or to downtown! The marina is just around the block. From the front yard, you can see the masts going by!
If you are a more adventurous spirit, then rest assured, just 1.5 miles away is the Kal Haven Trail where you can have some great trails for Bike riding, hiking and even snowmobiling! South Haven is continually working to improve your access to these features! If you love to Kayak, we enjoy paddling the many areas of the Black River or the Marina itself!

The location of our home is so wonderful. It is on a dead end street, so we are in a more quiet location but amazingly close to everything. I love being able to walk to everything here! If we want to see a show, we just walk to the theatre. I love hearing the sounds of the waves at night! It's our perfect piece of heaven here in South Haven.
We've just returned home from another great vacation in South Haven! This is our second year in this lovely apartment. The place is perfect for us, just a short walk to town and the beach. It's in a quiet neighborhood, tucked away from the main traffic. The apartment is clean and comfortable with a lovely private patio. The owners are the nicest people, always available to help with any questions about the apartment or the area. I almost hate to share this gem of a rental, but it's too nice to keep a secret.
My five-year-old son and I had a wonderful stay in South Haven (our second trip to the beach town in the last three years). This apartment was perfect for our small family. It is situated close enough to both the downtown and the beach so that we used the car only for trips to the grocery store. It's on a quiet block, and the two other parties staying in the other rental units in the building were quiet and respectful. My son and I loved the sun porch and enjoyed most of our meals on the private patio. He also got a big kick out of the bathroom's two doors -- he loved running in one end and out the other. It was so helpful to have the building's owners living on site: Marla and Jim were extremely attentive and responsive to any concerns I had, which were few (the grill wasn't working properly, due to no fault of theirs, but Jim got it working quickly; and there was also a chirping smoke alarm one night, but they changed the battery right away). My only suggestions are related to the kitchen: There was only one knife for cutting food, and it wasn't not effective for chopping vegetables, so I bought my own knife at the local Meijer. A set of knives for cutting and chopping food, along with a cutting board, is essential for any kitchen. Also, the coffee maker has seen better days; I had to scrub it to remove coffee-stain and mold buildup, and even then it didn't look clean enough for me to want to use it. Other than those minor points, this is a lovely, affordable and convenient place to stay in South Haven.
My wife and I rented this beautiful two bedroom apartment in South Haven from December 1st 2013 to April 30th 2014. It is freshly painted throughout and has a new ceiling in the living room. It was also totally refurbished in the fall of 2013 with new furniture and is just immaculate. Washer and dryer in the apartment works great and the other appliances are very clean and in good working order. This charming, cozy apartment has a private patio for grilling & lounging and easily sleeps five. There is plenty of parking and it is situated only 3 blocks from downtown South Haven and the Lake Michigan shore with public beach. Owners are on-site and are very responsive to tenant’s needs. This is a quiet, convenient apartment with everything you need for a relaxing stay in this very walkable city. You can watch the Lake Michigan sunset from the end of the driveway and walk to downtown for dinner. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We would recommend the accommodations and the owners very highly.
For those bringing a dog, there is a great dog beach about 1 mile away, Derlick Beach. We love Kayaking the black river, cycling or snowmobiling the Kal Haven Trail. Beautiful trails! There are great walking beaches all the way to Saugatuck!
