If you can imagine sitting on a wide uncrowded beach in a shaded beach cabana looking out over the beautiful crystal clear blue water while you sip a cool beverage, then you are dreaming of what it is like to spend a vacation at #24. Join the people who gather poolside to sunsets that are so beautiful you can not imagine how the colors are real. Looking up and down Seven Mile Beach, your breath is taken away by all the blues and greens of the Caribbean Sea.

For your stay at #24, you will find a beautiful kitchen recently redone that has all new appliances and everything you need to be comfortable. Our master bedroom has a King Bed with a view of palm trees from the window. The second bedroom has Twin bed. The two bathrooms have deep tubs with showers and are located between the master and second bedroom. The Living Room is spacious with a Flat Screen TV with cable and DVD player and enough seating for the family to sit and enjoy watching TV or the view through the patio door.

You can just relax and enjoy the beach or it is easy to arrange to be picked up right on the beach for a scuba trip, parasailing, or many other water activities. Many people enjoy walking the beach from Christopher Columbus since it is well situated in an area that is very safe.

There are over 150 restaurants of all kind along with grocery stores that are as well stocked as any in the States. The fabulous Caribbean Bakery with their fresh coconut and banana bread and meat pies (you’ve got to try one of these) made fresh every day is just down the road. World class restaurants abound. The Sunday brunch at Lucas deserves special mention and the meal is served with endless champagne. Shopping is nearby at Governor's Square, the Strand with a Kirk Freeport store, the Galleria and West Shore Center. Downtown Georgetown is less than 10 minutes away. Golf also is within easy driving of Christopher Columbus. We have an onsite lighted tennis court for use of our guests.

Since we know that you will like staying at Christopher Columbus better than any property on Seven Mile Beach.

Why Marty Kaiser chose Cayman Islands

I first heard of the Cayman Islands through ham radio. For several years I had been communicating with Bill Eberhart ZF1WE and fellow Island enthusiast. In the mid-sixties my family and I had lived in Barbados and returned there often. It is a long flight so I was looking for a closer Island and Cayman looked very interesting. In 1972 while in Miami helping bomb technician (yes, that was the business I was in) Sir Thomas Brodie MBE deal with a new type of Cuban bomb as I passed through the airport I saw a sign over the LACSA (the national airline of Costa Rica) desk that said “Fly to the Cayman Islands $62.00 round trip.” Noting that I could leave in the morning and be back in the evening of the same day I hopped a flight. That flight led me to the joy of scuba diving and endless fun with my ham radio equipment. My call sign is ZF2AK. In 1978 I became an original owner at the Christopher Columbus Condominiums and that became my fixed base for enjoying the Island. I trust you will enjoy Unit 24 as I do.

The main feature of this property is that it is built parallel to the beach giving it 330 feet of beautiful beachfront. Greater beach footage (11 feet) per renter than most other condos on the Island.

Take the first left after the high bridge. That will put you on West Bay Road heading North. .As approached from the South on West Bay Road the Christopher Columbus is next to the Anchorage Condominiums. It has four large dome lights at the entrance.
