Large year round lakefront vacation home on beautiful Tee Lake. This home has 2 levels with 2 bedrooms up( 1 king + 1 queen) and 3 down (1 queen & 2 full ), 1 1/2 baths on each level, 2 family rooms and 2 full kitchens. Idea for large family get togethers or multiple families vacationing together. Separate entrance for both levels but always rented as one house. Enjoy drinking coffee in the morning on the 40x8 covered deck overlooking the lake, or sitting on the lower covered patio reading in the evening. We are located in the no wake portion of Tee Lake with 110' ft of frontage. A paddleboat and 2 kayaks are included. Public boat launch is close and the local marina does offer rentals. There are many state land marked trails close by for ATV, ORV, or snowmobiles you can ride to right from the property. For all the golfers in the group Garland Resort is 3 miles away. There is something for all ages here and at the end of the day all gather around the bonfire to share your stories.
This was our second visit to this wonderful place with such a pretty view of the water and trees. The owners have thought of everything and made it a great place to get away from it all. We had enough room for a small family reunion. The grandkids love to run and play in the water and on the swing set. We all enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. My mother in law (83 years old) just loved sitting on the balcony and taking it all in. The fire pit was great for roasting marshmallows and enjoying late night conversation around the fire. From this location you can get out and visit other sights as well. We took in the Riverfest in Alanson and also spent a day on Mackinac Island. I have already booked a week here next summer and look forward to another great memory making experience!
The owner is very attentive and did an amazing job answering any questions and concerns we had. House was clean! Had lots of extras for entertaining ( tons of chairs for the camp fire, swing set for the kids, picnic tables for out door dinners) the kids loved the paddle boat and canoes. The water has a nice sandy bottom for little ones to play by the dock. The washer and dryer were a life saver with a big group. Suggestions would be to bring throw away plates, with no dishwasher no body wants to spend vacation washing dishes! The bottom level and top level are no connected in the inside. So you have to go outside and up the porch to access the top level. But after a day we adjusted and didnt even bother us! Overall we would rent this place again!!
We had two families and we had the older kids stay on the bottom level and us on the top level. It was awesome, everyone had their own space. There was a full kitchen in each level. Had two Kayaks so everyone had a Kayak (we brought ours also) The only negative was that it was only sandy on the one side of the dock. The main lake was far away, so could not paddle there every day. It was also great that we were able to bring the dogs, we cleaned up after them daily, but they enjoyed the water also. The kitchens were stock with pans, dishes, Tupperware, everything you could possibly need. We would definitely go back there again.
My son wanted to have a low key, outdoorsy bachelor party weekend so we rented this home for the May 13/15 th weekend. My son and I shared the king-size master bedroom, which was fantastic with its own bathroom and shower, while one or two guys each used the other 4 bedrooms with smaller beds. Rather than everyone double up in the full beds, all 5 couches were used as well so sleeping was comfy enough for the 11 of us. On Saturday, we all enjoyed 3 hours of laser tag in Alpena at the old armory building. What a riot! Everyone thought this was a blast. Cooked up brats in the oven and burgers on the grill that evening. Had a bonfire out back til the snow flurries chased us indoors. Was planning to go canoeing on the nearby AuSable (in Mio) on Sunday, but too cold for that. A few of us took turns taking short rides in the two kayaks that were there at the home, and that was great. Beautiful lake, wonderful accommodations, great location...and just a weekend of good clean fun and laughs. I personally loved sitting out on the deck with morning coffee. Found the location nice and quiet and close to Lewiston and facilities we visited (Family Fare, St. Francis Catholic Church and Talley's Log Cabin Bar). Get a big 'A' as far as I'm concerned.
We have stayed at this property 3 times in the last year. We have enjoyed every stay as much as the last. The house has everything you could possibly need for 2 to 16 people. All of the beds are very comfortable and clean. There is a large living/family room on the main level for gathering and hanging out. All of the kitchen amenities are some of the best I have seen in any rental. The owners are quick to respond to any contact and always make you feel welcome. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to relax on a nice lake.
The home was spacious and included everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, beautiful view of the lake. Unfortunately for us it was too cold to go on the lake, but we look forward to renting again next summer. The only complaint i have is the darn pocket door on the bathroom was hard to close. Minor issue compared to all the posutives.
