With a private hot tub and a location just minutes from downtown Rockaway Beach, the Hollyhock Beach House is an ideal home base for vacationing families and groups of friends in search of cozy relaxation.
A short half-mile walk to the shoreline of Rockaway Beach gives guests at the Hollyhock Beach House a prime location for exploring the Northern Oregon Coast.
Built in 2006, this two-story home has plenty of space for as many as four adults and four children, as well as a wide range of amenities to keep everyone entertained.
The main level was seemingly designed to accommodate gatherings of family and friends. The living room offers plush seating and plenty of entertainment, including a flatscreen cable TV, books, games, a stereo, a DVD library, and wireless Internet for cozy nights in.
The full kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of chef's tools and a dishwasher. A breakfast bar is a casual hang out for the sous chefs, and there's a dining table with ample space for four.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with queen-size beds for the adults, as well as one bedroom with four twin bunk beds for the kids. The home features two full bathrooms as well, one on the main floor and one upstairs. Eight guests (four adults maximum, please) will sleep comfortably here.
Out back, you can soak in the private hot tub after a long day of walking, surfing, bicycling, or sand castle-building. The fenced patio also features a gas grill, and a firepit!
The area surrounding this seven-mile stretch of sand is known for its boating, fishing, crabbing, and kayaking.
Downtown Rockaway Beach is only 12 miles south of Manzanita and Nehalem Bay State Park, and 13 miles north of the renowned Tillamook Cheese Factory.
Whether you're planning a kid-friendly getaway, a trip to reconnect with old friends, or a quiet couples' weekend, the Hollyhock Beach House will provide you with a perfect place to unwind just steps from the shore.
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
House was perfect for us. Clean, simple, comfortable, very nice. Bedrooms were nice size. My 2 girls loved the twin bunkbeds! They both got to sleep on a top bunk. Grandma was comfortable in one bedroom and the master bedroom worked out great for me, my husband and the baby. The living room with the electric fireplace was cozy and perfect for snuggling on the couch with a movie. We had a guest over for a spaghetti dinner one night. And of course, the highlight was the hot tub out back! It was just perfect for our weekend. Extra blankets in the closets, extra towels in the bathrooms. We had everything we could possibly need. It was clean and simple and just perfect.
The house was clean and cozy. The Jacuzzi was a highlight. The rooms were big comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. I could not have asked for more. Everyone in the family kept commenting on how nice it was and how perfect it was for our little family.
Very nice well kept property. Only drawback was the parking availability. I brought it boat and had to keep it parked at the end of the street but other than that, the I would highly recommend this property.
Overall I was happy with the house, good quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors. The house was clean and everything (except the hot tub) was in good working condition. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, kitchen was adequately stocked.
The only complaint I have was no toys or games for kids. And the yard is tiny so there isn't anywhere for kids to play.
We had a hard time getting out of the comfy, cozy beds! The house was immaculently clean. I liked the location. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Great dinner in town at the bite at the beach, but cooked in the well stocked kitchen the rest of the time. Family games and dvd's kept us entertained. We were 45 minutes from Seaside, and went shopping in Lincoln City not too far away. I would happily book this rental again.
