With a private hot tub and a location just minutes from downtown Rockaway Beach, the Hollyhock Beach House is an ideal home base for vacationing families and groups of friends in search of cozy relaxation.
A short half-mile walk to the shoreline of Rockaway Beach gives guests at the Hollyhock Beach House a prime location for exploring the Northern Oregon Coast.
Built in 2006, this two-story home has plenty of space for as many as four adults and four children, as well as a wide range of amenities to keep everyone entertained.
The main level was seemingly designed to accommodate gatherings of family and friends. The living room offers plush seating and plenty of entertainment, including a flatscreen cable TV, books, games, a stereo, a DVD library, and wireless Internet for cozy nights in.
The full kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of chef's tools and a dishwasher. A breakfast bar is a casual hang out for the sous chefs, and there's a dining table with ample space for four.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with queen-size beds for the adults, as well as one bedroom with four twin bunk beds for the kids. The home features two full bathrooms as well, one on the main floor and one upstairs. Eight guests (four adults maximum, please) will sleep comfortably here.
Out back, you can soak in the private hot tub after a long day of walking, surfing, bicycling, or sand castle-building. The fenced patio also features a gas grill, a firepit, and space for the family dog to stretch his legs for an additional nightly fee.
The area surrounding this seven-mile stretch of sand is known for its boating, fishing, crabbing, and kayaking.
Downtown Rockaway Beach is only 12 miles south of Manzanita and Nehalem Bay State Park, and 13 miles north of the renowned Tillamook Cheese Factory.
Whether you're planning a kid-friendly getaway, a trip to reconnect with old friends, or a quiet couples' weekend, the Hollyhock Beach House will provide you with a perfect place to unwind just steps from the shore.

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The property was clean and in good shape. The neighbors are friendly. We would stay here again.
The inside was very clean. Furniture was nice and the beds were even more comfortable than our own. Appreciated very much cable and WiFi!
We brought our daughters and their two kids each to spend an extended weekend at Rockaway. The Hollyhock house worked well for us with bedrooms upstairs and kitchen/dining downstairs. Although it's off the beaten path, we found the neighborhood charming and it worked well to have young kids completely away from the beach when it wasn't beach time. It's a closely built neighborhood, but we didn't have any problems with folks around us... and we had a couple of young ones that are screamers... both when happy and sad. If you don't have any problem with stairs... then this nice family place to make memories.
Exactly what the pictures look like! We had an awesome experience and enjoyed the hot tub and the house very much! It was perfect size for our family of 6!
I was so looking forward to sitting in the hot tub. We took the cover off and the water was a milky and murky - and smelled like moldy laundry. Speaking of laundry - the area around the laundry closet smelled bad - but not as bad as the laundry closet itself.
We will not stay there again.
