Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
House is special with excellent gathering areas, and striking views of the ocean. With the exception of the master, which is delightful, remaining bedrooms and baths are small. Rental rate is fairly priced but fees are quite high. Beach access is inconvenient except for energetic individuals but for those unable to climb hills and stairs or walk longer distances be prepared to drive to public access.
We had a great time in your beautiful home. I am a stickler for cleanliness and found myself very comfortable. I even walked around barefoot. Wonderful home with a fantastic view that slaps you when you walk in the door. Great house for privacy. Each floor had a bedroom and full bath. Book with confidence. We too will return.
This house is absolutely stunning!!! A very beautiful place!!! It has stunning views!!! It's nice that it has 3 floors with a bedroom and a bathroom on each. The kids enjoyed playing pool and hanging out on the bottom floor. The adults enjoyed the main floor for the most part. We didn't find the beach access that we were supposed to use. Either we didn't look hard enough, or maybe I didn't feel like getting sand in my shoes...LOL.
The home, furnishings, and view were wonderful......
Alas, we had to come home to reality.
I took awhile to decide which property to rent for a little getaway. After selecting this one, I added a 3rd night based on the previous reviews. I knew I would regret not staying an extra night. This is a wonderful house that a lot of love went into the remodel process. It is really tasteful. The views from pretty much anywhere are striking, and that's on cloudy/rainy days! I could tell the views were impressive when first pulling into the driveway and seeing the peekaboo view on the side of the house from in the car. At that point, I was in a hurry to get in the house and take it in from the main floor.
The parking at this house was so convenient. We only had one car. Probably snug with three. We were able to back in right to the stairs and unload. There were only about 4 stairs right at the driveway and probably about six paces from the stairs to the front door. So very close and convenient, especially with the heavy deluge of rain that we encountered during our stay.
The views are amazing! The house is so tasteful and gorgeous. The quality of materials, appliances and furnishings are very nice! I found the place to be extraordinarily clean and tidy and was very impressed by the ability of housekeeping to keep the dust at bay when there were certainly plenty of opportunities for dust to find a home as this home has not shortage of furnishings and decorations.
We spent much time at the pool table as my dad was quite the pool player in his day. I think he had is own mancave for our stay.
The dining table now has 6 very nice dining chairs with arms and there are 2 nice sitting chairs against the wall in the dining room. It was a nice surprise.
Tips: The fireplace next to the dining table has a switch near the floor on the left side behind the plant that operates that fireplace. The fireplace in the room upstairs has a remote control. Just keep holding down the up button until it turns on and the flames are at the level you desire. Not sure how to get the 3rd fireplace on, but it didn't matter to us.
There are lots of lighting options and plenty of light switches. You might have as much fun as us figuring out which ones operate what. Some lights were nice surprises, such as the rope lighting in the stairwells.
A nice find for me was spotting the photo album in the reading area on my last day. The homeowners took pictures of the home when they first purchased it in May 2001 and some of the remodel process. I loved that they shared those pics and it made me appreciate their hard work and taste even more. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to stay in their home and hope to be back again someday. The guest book also had some touching entries. Oh, and that bed on the top floor is a heavenly cloud. Enjoy your stay should you decide to book this home!
A really magnificent home with stunning views from every level. A great place for 3 couples. The maintenance needs to be improved. Burned out lights, gas fireplaces that didn't work.
