Tranquil Lakeside Retreat
The description of this property is impressive. So, it is even more impressive that the two-bedroom unit -- and its amazing lakeside location -- actually exceeds the description and expectations. My wife and I spent an extended stay here recently, and we could not have been more comfortable or pleased.
An amazing view of Lake Howell greets you when you walk through the door. That view only improves from the private back patio, the comfortable living room and the master bedroom upstairs, with an outside deck. The large lake is stunning and filled with fish and wildlife, including fascinating birds easily within your camera's view out the cypress-draped back patio or dock. This is picturesque old Florida.
In the living room, you'll immediately relax on the plush recliner sofas, in front of a flat-screen, cable-equipped TV with surround sound and an impressive DVD library. This town home has everything you will need, including a full dining table. The kitchen is ultra clean, modern and fully stocked with plates, glasses, cookware, etc. -- even a Keurig coffeemaker. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are, again, very clean and ultra quiet for a good night of sleep. Each are also equipped with flat-screen TVs with cable. The wifi works great throughout.
The location of this property is convenient. A wide choice of excellent restaurants are nearby, several within walking distance. There are also several supermarkets and retail shops nearby. Downtown Winter Park is a short drive, and the tourist attractions are only 30-45 minutes away.
Jim, the owner/manager of the property, is personable, easily accessible, and took extra steps to make the accommodations most welcoming when we arrived. He is ultra-responsive to questions or issues, of which we had almost none. He is also a wealth of information about the lake and the surrounding area, including some excellent restaurant recommendations. That's why he's know locally as "Mr. Lake Howell."
I highly recommend this property, and my wife and I would stay there again -- or at any other property that Jim manages. Simply put, our experience at this Lake Howell retreat was outstanding!

Wonderful Townhome on Beautiful Lake Powell
This unit is a spacious two bedroom townhouse located on Lake Powell. It is very clean and nicely decorated, it felt like home. It was very relaxing to sit on the back patio and enjoy the lake, which is only 25 ft. away. It is located near several grocery stores and a shopping mall. Jim Travis is the owner and is very accommodating. I have rented from him on three separate occasions. He is always available and will handle any request quickly.

Wonderful Condo on Lake Howell
This condo was absolutely wonderful for my visit to the Orlando area. The pictures are absolutely accurate. The lake view was wonderful. It is pretty at night, too. You often see the moon rising through the cypress trees. The unit was very clean and well appointed. The few questions I had were handled quickly. I received a call or text back with an answer almost immediately. There are numerous stores(Publix, Walmart, etc.) within minutes of the property. There are numerous restaurants nearly. You can dine at Panera's, eat at Tijuana Flats, or take a 10 minutes ride into Winter park and eat at one of the many fine restaurants on Park Ave. It is about a 30 minute drive to Disney or Universal. I have already recommended this place to several friends. You will enjoy you stay here.
We were very pleased with how this condo. The pictures are accurate. The living room furniture was very comfortable with built in recliners. Jim was easy to work with.
We loved watching the sunrise each morning over the lake. As avid walkers, we found several nearby lakes with walking paths on the water: Crane's Roost, Baldwin, Sybelia, and the Kraft Azalea Garden on Lake Maitland. We also enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Winterpark.
We would definitely recommend this property if you are staying in the Orlando area. The views from the condo are absolutely gorgeous. The condo was wonderful and Jim was the perfect landlord. We are definitely coming back!
You are 20 min to Downtown Orlando -15-20 min to UCF, Rollins Herzing and Full Sail 30 min to Sea World & Universal Studios-Only 45 min to Disney- 45 mi to the Beach.
