Also located on the main floor are the Rain Medical Centre and Hair Society & Spa. treat yourself, Close to the City Center Mall, Churchill square, City Hall, Citadel Theatre(live theatre), Winspear Theatre(live music/symphony), restaurants. groceries, movie theatres, fitness clubs, pubs, liquor stores, within close proximately. Secure heated underground parking, bus just outside the door, rapid transit(subway) just a few minutes away. Across the street from the river valley and river valley trail system, walking, cycling. About Steve Balay

We like to travel a bit ourselves and like to stay in suites where we are self sufficient but have the option of feeling like we are in a hotel. Like to go grocery shopping, pick up what we like and have the option of going to the fridge to get what we want and not have to go out or order in. Thought that would be a great idea for others coming to stay in this great city. Born and raised here. There is always something to do in edmonton, from the year round festivals to regular sites to go and see and shopping rivalling the most major destinations in north america. World class fitness facility at Commonwealth Stadium, three minute drive, 10-15 minute walk. City Centre Mall, 5 minute drive, 15-20 minute walk. Kingsway Mall, one of Edmonton's busiest malls, just a ten minute or less drive. West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in North America is less than a half hour drive away, all of the Canadian and so many of the premier US retailers are here, be sure to grab a map and plan on spending a fair bit of time there and maybe a bit of money :)!.

Worked Out Perfectly

We spent 9 days in Edmonton visiting kids and grandchildren. We knew we wanted a place where we could stay that was separate from our kids place and where we could have the grandchildren visit. This apartment couldn't have worked out better. Location was great, near to downtown, Rogers Place and the Commonwealth Stadium and Community Pool. The place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to make meals, enjoy happy hour (the balcony seating was perfect for that) and watch the sunset. The entertainment set up was super, TV, DVD, sound system. If you're looking for a place to stay that is close to downtown, Rogers Place, Stadium and that is cozy and well set up for living comfortably, then you can't go wrong with this property. The owner was great. He was there if we needed anything but stayed out of our hair and let us feel as though the place was ours. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Great location - walk to downtown events and restaurants!

Great little apartment. My husband and I were very comfortable here and loved having a full-service, clean unit to stay in. Kitchen is very well stocked and owners left us little treats to make us feel welcome. Comfy beds and furniture. Views of downtown are fantastic.

Great Location

We had a great vacation in Edmonton. Steve was easy to deal with and came to show us where to park (underground was a bonus) and pointed out some things to us in the rental. Check in and out was smooth and easy. The property is exactly as pictured in the photos and was clean when we arrived. The views were spectacular both during the day and at night. We had access to a car, otherwise might have found the walk to town a bit long. I would recommend this rental.

Overall nice property, cozy & comfortable

This property is in a great location, owner was good to deal with and everything we needed was there. Underground parking was definitely a plus. Some unwelcome guest in between lobby doors when we were trying to leave, however completely out of owners control. I would use this property again!

Had a wonderful stay!

We have family in Edmonton but prefer to have our own space. This apartment was perfect for us. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and the view is even better. Although we never met Steve, he was very responsive to any concerns or questions we had. The only drawback for us was getting our suitcases, coolers etc... up to the main floor elevator from the car. There is no direct access from the underground parking to the elevator. Both this location and the front entrance involve using a flight of stairs. Not a huge issue for us, but it might be for more elderly people. Overall our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely stay here again.

Owner's Response: Glad your stay was great! Sorry I must have forgot to mention that there is direct access to the elevator from the underground parking. It is just as you pull in, there is a door that leads directly to the elevator, that is where guests stop to drop their luggage and take it up to the suite, also how we moved furniture etc. in. Will have to remember that for your next stay and we will for future guests.

Great Location

This was our first VRBO, and I look forward to my next one. Steve was very easy to deal with, and promptly answered all our questions. The apartment worked well for us. Had breath taking views with awesome sunsets. The only downfall was nothing that Steve had any control over, and that was the stench coming from the basement. We only experienced it 2 days, but it was pretty vile. Would definitely consider booking there again.

Great location, just minutes to so much and across the street from the river valley and walking and biking trails. On the edge of downtown, with amazing views. So many must see and must do activities so close by.
