Great place for a family getaway! The view is beautiful and the cabin is nice and cozy. When we arrived we found a binder with all instructions very clear and the nearest places and stores. The matresses on the twin beds needs to be replaced, but nothing that will ruin the trip. It was our first time in TN and had a great time!
We felt very at home here and the view was amazing! We also did not have trouble finding the home like others and was able to get up and down the gravel road with ease. There were two dogs that like to hang out around the house, but we did not mind they were very sweet. Would definitely stay here again.
Daniel provided plenty of information when we arrived at the cabin and was easily accessible whenever we had a question. The cabin is very private and had all the things we needed in the kitchen so we didn't have to bring anything and could cook at the cabin for our family! The only two things that made our stay not 5 star was that the cabin is at the top of a very steep hill and although we read the reviews we really didn't expect it to be so steep. You definitely need to arrive during the daylight hours your first time or you will have a hard time getting to it. Also there were two dogs that live in a cabin at the bottom of the hill that were at our cabin constantly. With 3 children under age 5 we weren't really comfortable having them around when we were trying to have a picnic outdoors or roast snores. They also liked to run in front of the cars and when driving up the steep hills it was a bit nerve wracking that we would hit one.
The cabin has an amazing view of the Smokeys! It is also a short distance to anything touristy you could want. We visited Gatlinburg, Seiverville, Pigeon Forge, and even Douglas Lake and nothing was more than 45 min away. It's a nice getaway cabin.
We loved the location and the cabin immensely. We enjoyed nearby events, and the ride back to the cabin after dark was an adventure I'm sure will be shared many times. Thank you for sharing your home!!!
Very nice cabin. We had a great time. Really felt at home. The view was magnificent and the cabin was roomy. We look forward to another visit.
In my own opinion, when you travel to Tennessee for pleasure, it's for the adventures, mountains, views, and forgetting technology for the moment. The drive to this cabin is a bit scary at first but after a time or two, it's fine. It's a dramatic incline on a gravel road with many twists and turns. You're in the mountains; it should be expected. The cabin is quaint and cozy. The view is spectacular. We enjoyed it with very minimal problems that we didn't even report to the owner because they were just silly. Here they are; The deck is rough in places. The toaster oven doesn't work. The jacuzzi is a little confusing on how to make it work. (Not even sure if we turned it on 100%.) and the directions on where to take your trash are extremely confusing.. We had to ask a store worker if we could use their dumpster on the last day because we couldn't find the ones described.
We had a very pleasant stay, and it's very fair priced. Also, we booked very last minute and the owner was very prompt and helpful the whole time. We will be back. (:
