Crowning our building is a rooftop pool and sundeck with full 360 degree views of the ocean, mountains, and city. Being literally oceanfront, the ocean seems to meet the pool line to form the 'infinity' feeling. Inside you'll find two bedrooms, a king in the master and two twins (which can be moved together to make a queen) in the second bedroom. The bedrooms are well separated by the full kitchen and spacious living area, complete with cable tv and a dvd player.
A typical day in Vallarta might begin with breakfast at the restaurant situated at the foot of our building. There you'll sit oceanside with some of the finest dining in Puerto Vallarta. A stroll down the Malecon gives visitors a true sense of local Mexican culture, offering local music, Huichol art, cuisine, and a constant ocean view throughout. Throughout your day and into the night, you'll never need a cab, as all major restaurants, shops, and even the flea market are within a few blocks. Even the most famous beach in Vallarta is only four blocks from our front door!
Before choosing to rent our condo, the following are a few frequently asked questions we often get from prospective renters:
Q: Do you require the full amount up front?
A: Of course not! We ask for 33% up front, which is fully refundable up until 30 days prior to your stay.
Q: How far is the beach REALLY?
A: REALLY it's four blocks! Go outside our building, make a left, and four blocks later you are there. Less than 5 minutes - promise!
Q: Are there stairs?
A: Our building is a bit interesting. There is one flight of stairs you'll need to use coming in and out of our condo building. You can take an elevator the rest of the way.
Q: Do you allow pets or smoking?
A: Nope and nope.
Q: Is it noisy being downtown?
A: We recently installed double-pane fully-sealed sliding glass patio doors and it has made a world of difference. If a loud siren were to drive by, that would certainly be heard, but otherwise it is now incredibly peaceful - you'll love it!

It's RIGHT on the ocean and in the heart of downtown. I love spending a week there and never, ever needing a cab. I love being at the best beach in PV within five minutes walk, having 50+ amazing restaurants within a five minute walk, and yet I can relax inside or on the rooftop in the pool and forget I'm anywhere but paradise.
Also, this is our only property. We are not a big corporation. You will always get to deal with me and/or Christina (our PV property manager) directly and personally.
As I've mentioned, being within 5 minutes walking to restaurants, shops, the beach, the ocean, the Malecon, music, and art - can't be beat.
There are very few Old Town Vallarta condos available now, and we're lucky to have one. The convenience coupled with the rooftop pool and sundeck simply cannot be beat!
Although in a great location within walking distance to everything, when we arrived at the condo the wifi was not working. We were not notified of this beforehand, which would have been nice to know, since wifi was our only way of communicating with anyone else. Additionally, the condo was not clean. There were stray hairs in the beds and the comforters were filthy with stains. The A/C unit in the smaller bedroom was so loud it was impossible to sleep.
My best friend and I have stayed at this condo twice now, and we love it! The location just couldn't be any better, we can walk everywhere without taking taxis. The condo itself is comfortable, and has ceiling fans and room A/C (though we didn't need the A/C very much on this stay) The manager, Christina, picked us up at the airport and took us to the big grocery store for $30--totally worth it. It really saved us to be able to stock up on all the beverages, fruit, etc Quiet, even though right on the Malecon. We ate at the restaurant underneath at least once, and it was great (Vitae). We also used a tip from the owner, Jay, and purchased a day pass at Playa Los Arcos hotel, which cost us about $40 US, BUT the money spent was given back to us in a certificate to use for food and drinks. This way we had beach and pool access, service for drinks and food all day, great lounge chairs and shade umbrella, access to the very nice bathrooms and pools all day long, as well as beach towels. Very relaxing day. The pool on the rooftop of the condo was also great--nice chairs and shade also. We will definitely be back! (One note-I may bring my own pillowcase next time--the condo ones are clean but not as soft as I like.) Thanks again, Sue and Stacey
We stayed here for 30 days in Feb 1016. Loved the condo and the location. Condo was decorated very nicely and was outfitted with everything you would need. Slept in master bedroom with patio door open .....was not bothered by noise from the street. It is a very quiet condo complex. The condo staff were always cleaning....everything was spotless at all times. Pool area on the roof was beautiful......the view was unbelievable.
Restaurants, shopping, bars are plentiful just steps away. Would highly recommend "Devils Bar and Grill" directly below the south corner of the building......great staff and perfect place for people watching. Lots of sports bars within walking distance for hockey fans (yes.....they definitely cater to Canadians...haha).....Steve's Sports Bar & Grill (homemade mushroom soup), Thirsty Cougar (best hamburger steak I have ever had) , El Torito Sports Bar & Grill (peel and eat shrimp, ribs and burgers are top notch). Travelled around PV on the local buses (8 pesos) ....short ride to Mismaloya Beach and a bit further to Boca..... beautiful beaches.

This rental is in a perfect location. It's close to everything you would want to see in Puerto Vallarta and there is no need for a car. We've stayed in five different parts of the city and this was definitely the best. We walked everywhere and ate at places where we could enjoy watching the crashing waves a dozen times. Fabulous!
Both bedrooms are good sized. The master bedroom (with king size bed) has a view of the bay but the downside is that you can always hear street noise--cars, busses, delivery trucks. Closing the balcony door helps, but doesn't block it completely. The back bedroom is very quiet (it's like a different world from the front bedroom) and is the only place in the condo where internet is accessible. Intenet is also accessible on the roof deck patio and in the open public 'courtyard' areas outside the condo.
The balcony is small but there is room for a couple chairs and it's fun to sit and read or enjoy the sights and sounds of the Malecon below.
The kitchen was adequate. We didn't do any cooking as there are so many wonderful restaurant choices with such reasonable prices. A maid cones once a week and cleans and changes bedding and towels. Only an advantage if you're staying more than a week (we were there for two). We purchased water supply refills a couple times from the downstairs security people who were always very friendly.
The pool and roof-deck patio area is lovely. A beautiful quiet spot to enjoy the sun or to relax with a book in the shade. The folks who live in the building are very friendly and welcoming too.
Having a TV was nice too. Since we are from the U.S., we kept up with news and could watch the presidential debates (crazy as some are this year!). We watched CNN and occasionally the one other channel with programs in English.
Again, a great location and lovely building.
The location of the condo was perfect! Central to it all. Great security staff. The condo unit itself is dated and needs some work, but it was comfortable and clean. Noisy traffic during the day, but at night it was fine. We spent little time in the condo, so the traffic noise didn't bother us at all. Hubby was still able to have the odd nap, no problem. There are stairs from the 2nd to 3rd floor, which was no problem. We tended to take the stairs anyway. It was just a bit difficult for lugging your luggage. Not the greatest wifi as it only works in the 2nd bedroom. It would be nice to have a small table and chair in the room to put papers and laptop/iPad for googling and making notes. The balcony was a great place to sit and relax but it would have been nice to have a small table out there for your cup of coffee or glass of wine. The roof top lounge and pool is very nice, but we didn't spend any time up there.
Contact with the owner was quick and easy, as was the contact with the manager Christine.
I would definitely consider staying in this condo again. I can't say enough about the location!!
I stayed here with two friends in June 2014, so I'm a bit late reviewing. We loved the location being right in town but not noisy (except for the trash collection early in the morning - that was a bummer). The pool is beautiful with a great view of the ocean and the malecon. The bus stopped very close to our doorstep, restaurants were in abundance in both directions and the Spanish school we attended was within walking distance. No car is needed to stay at this place! I was there alone for a few days before my friends arrived and I felt safe and secure at this property. (In general I always feel safe in PV as a woman traveling alone.) It was off-season so there weren't many people staying at this location. It was nice to have the pool unoccupied most of the time and we didn't hear our neighbors at all. Christine was helpful if we had any questions or needs. I would rent this place again and recommend it for 2 couples or a small family.
