This apartment, located on the top floor (don't worry, there is a lift), includes 3 separated bedrooms (2 with a full bed, one with a full bed and a single bed). It offers all the comfort you expect to enjoy your vacations (air conditioning, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washer dryer, large flat screen TV, high speed cable internet WiFi ...).

A parking (gated) is included in the rental so you don't have to worry about searching during hours and paying an arm and a leg to park (which makes more difficult to swim then...).

Casa Grande should be Casa Pequeno or Casa mal estado ( Small and Shabby)

I am a seasoned traveler. I was very disappointed with this property. While the location was good, near the beach and shopping the rest of the ad was misleading. Firstly it is advertised as 900 sq. ft. It felt very small so I looked it up on the Miami-Dade website and found it is 721 sq. ft. The parking lot had holes in it that you can make you trip and fall.The entrance lobby looks like a jail with bars and fences. The elevator was dingy. A walkway to the apartment was unkept and shabby. The condo is dissected by a zigzag hallway that is unusable and takes up some of the square footage. The 2 bedrooms are tiny. The floor was coming up and missing in several places. The pillows, sheets, and blankets were old and threadbare. The mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. Furniture was old. The kitchen was very small and lacked a fair amount of glasses and counter space. The ad reads newly renovated. That is if you count 1996 as new. The vanity in the bathroom was deteriorating and the towel rack was broken off the shower. There were light bulbs missing throughout the condo including the bathroom and dining room light.The bulbs used were mismatched and provided poor light. The ad reads Balcony overlooking the ocean. While technically true, it failed to mention it overlooks the alley behind several restaurants and smelly dumpsters. Nothing like the sound of garbage trucks in the morning to start your day. The Balcony is also 18 inches wide so you really can't sit outside even if you wanted to. If you crane your neck and look over the building behind the condo you can see the ocean.

The other problem I had was the general cleanliness of the place. Between the stove and the counter was dirt including old food, and a cigarette about an inch deep. There was dust on the chandelier chain. Dirt under the bed. The walls were dirty and badly in need of paint. The bathtub was chipped and stained. The window blinds in the living room were missing slates. There was dust on all the window shades. The refrigerator light did not work and it was rusty.

The rent on this place is way to high for what you get and I don't recommend that you stay here unless it is really cheap. I contacted the owner to complain, and all he offered was to take off the cleaning fee which made perfect sense since the place was dirty. He failed to respond to me after that offer.

Needless to say I will never stay here again.

Owner's Response: Dear sir, I am sorry to inform you that you made a mistake: Casa Grande is another property in Miami Beach, not ours. Our unit has three bedrooms, not two, and there is no restaurant or whatever in the building and nearby buildings. I hope in the future you'll make a better choice than Casa Grande that seems to have disappointed you. Alan

Nooit meer

Het huis was niet schoongemaakt toen wij na een lange dag rijden aankwamen. Was meneer vergeten te regelen. Na veel gebeld en gewacht te hebben kwamen er eindelijk 2 mensen om schoon te maken, zijn 2,5 uur bezig geweest om dit vieze appartement schoon te krijgen. Nadat wij om half 9 in de avond pas terug konden in het appartement was het eindelijk "schoon" Dagen erna veel kleine insecten en beestjes in de keuken en slaapkamers. Ook kakkerlakken. Hierover opnieuw contact opgenomen. Lijkt of we niet serieus genomen worden. Bar slecht onderhouden appartement. Overal vocht plekken, lamellen eruit, schuif deuren werken niet goed, lampen in slaapkamers doen het niet.

Enigste + plunt was het campingbedje dat meneer had gekocht voor onze zoon. Dit was dus als enigste schoon. Anders hadden we zeker niet in dit appartement gebleven.

Nog nooit zon vies klein appartement gezien. Belachelijk dat dit verhuurd wordt voor 8 personen en vooral voor zoveel geld!

Owner's Response: I've never had such painful guests as anyone can see on the reviews. I've managed to buy a crib with everything to go with prior to the stay. The apartment was ready a little late (8 30PM) but I offered the guest the possibility to leave their luggage in the secure apartment to enjoy the day outside while the housekeeper was preparing it. The guest also told me that the housekeeper did a good job (despite the doubtful review). They threatened to live the apartment after negotiating everyday for a discount and after finally seeing that the price was definitely not the one of a hotel, decided to stay.

Location was magnificent. Literally 5 min away from ocean drive! This apt is right in the mix of everything seriously. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. Will be using this spot again for sure!

Little fiasco

on our way to Miami, we get a call from owner/admin to tell us that the place was double book! Although he found us a place for first night and move to a hotel for the rest of our stay, was an inconvenience that make us lose time moving from place to place.

Nice apartment !

We had a very nice bachelorette weekend , the apartment is nice we did love the locations , close to everything only problems , it was not that clean and there where a lot of ants in the kitchen . Overall it's a good place to stay !
