The Forman Guest House was an old Inn built and operated around the turn of the century. It has been completely restored, while keeping its old style and charm. The beaches, boardwalk amusements, restaurants and night life are all within easy walking distance, so you can park your car in one of our 4 off street parking spots and forget it for the length of your stay. Our wrap-a-round porch offers a relaxing way to start off your day or winding down at the end of it. Plenty of room available in our yard and patio for outside barbecuing and there is 3 outside picnic tables as well. Two outside showers are available both with hot and cold running water.
The 1st floor includes a kitchen, dining room, full bath, small laundry room and a large living room with a stone fireplace. The kitchen comes complete with a stove, dishwasher, sink, cabinets and a full size refrigerator. The new windows were sized to fit the original openings, thus recreating the architect's original intention of flooding the entire home with natural light from all directions.

Basically this home has everything you might want for a family vacation at the Jersey Shore. This house is large enough for 2 or even 3 families to share with plenty of porch space and living room to spread out in. The house also has central air conditioning as well. Hoffman's Ice Cream Parlor is right down the street while all the Spa and Pool facilities of the White Sands Hotel are within a short walk as well. There are a few great restaurants all very close too. Our downtown area is full of small quaint shops and antique stores as well. There really is something here for everyone.

Having grown up here in Point Pleasant Beach, I always wanted to make my way back here to live. So, after receiving my Masters in Environmental Management and having lived in various places, I bought this house in 1985 and have been working on it ever since. It has been a lifelong pleasure and now, 3 years of recovering from ' Hurricane Sandy', I am proud to offer this house to you fully restored.
Richard Quiambao purchased this house in 1985
I bought this house because this is where I grew up and have many wonderful memories of the beaches, boardwalks and the Inlet fishing. The local parks had everything we needed as kids with basketball and tennis courts as well. It's home to the Original Mike's Subs and Hoffman's Ice Cream. What could be better than that for a kid and his buddies, except when the surf was up and we'd all grab our boards!
Once you park your cars in our off street parking lot you never have to get in them again for your stay as most things are well within walking distance from the house. The beach, boardwalk and fine restaurants and the quaint shops on Arnold Avenue are all within walking distance.
This house worked well for our extended family & friends. It is evident owners live in it when not renting also they stay in garage apartment on property, which was not a problem at all. The porch could benefit with more updated cushions. Prime location by the beach with four parking spots. Lots of stairs in this house. All beds were full size, queen size would have been better to accommodate two to a bed. Beautiful modern bathrooms are a big plus in this house. We found ourselves on the porch most of the time. The great weather was a plus!
We were lucky to have found Rich's home to stay at for our 4 night stay in NJ.
It very easily accommodated 10 people. We were very skeptical at first considering this was our first time renting a place. But my golly geez what a fabulous owner and such a gorgeous place. Rich was so very gracious and eased any worries or skepticism we may have had. Very close to the beach. Approx 3 mins to the beach. What was even better was it was 4 mins away from the boardwalk as well. Great parking for 4 cars. Open kitchen, nice dining room and the beds were big enough for 2.5 people.
I cannot explain how we loved every minute of it. He was always available and was very patient. His kitchen had all the necessary accessories to cook (plus grilling tools). The showers were spotless. Having a shower downstairs as well (besides upstairs) was so very convenient - especially when you have so many kids (we had 6 kids with us). The TV location was great. The bed rooms were large enough for the kids to run around and the best place of the home to me personally was the front porch. Having a cup of coffee early morning on the porch looking at the beach was just great. We even got to see the thurs night fireworks from his home.
This place is a MUST see. I will be going to this spot the next time we decide to visit Point Pleasant.
This house was even more amazing than we thought!! It was in the perfect location! Just a block away from the beach, boardwalk, rides, and restaurants. This was the best renting experience I've ever had! Richard, the home owner, was exceptionally kind to us and made this experience great! He was so down to earth and helpful; we can all gladly say we would recommend anyone to stay at this lovely home! The house was clean, decorated, and furnished very nicely. There was plenty of room for our group of fifteen! We all had more than enough room in this three floor house! The porch was the absolute best to sit out on and have a good time with our whole group! We all look forward to staying at Richard's home again and making more memories. We couldn't thank him enough for the amazing time he allowed us to have! His house has everything anyone could need for a great time!
Our family of seven (including our 2yr. old granddaughter) had a wonderful stay at the Forman House! This home is well-maintained, beautifully decorated, and HUGE! What a great place to vacation with family at the Jersey shore! We really felt at home from the moment we arrived. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather for a meal in the dining room or watch TV/chat in the living room. It was also perfect for slipping away for an afternoon nap...especially for the little one! But, even with so much room to spread out inside, we found ourselves spending most of our time on the wrap-around porch. What a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze! (The outdoor showers and gas grill certainly came in handy, too!)
Rick, the owner, could not have been a nicer guy. He was pleasant, welcoming, and truly happy to see our family having a great time in his beautiful home. Couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay!
Thank you, Rick, for sharing your home with us. We will be seeing you again...for sure!

Our group had a wonderful time staying at the Forman Guest House. There is plenty of room for larger groups and the owner is a great, easy-going guy. Very short walk to the beach and boardwalk. If I were to head back to Point Pleasant, I'd look to stay here first.
We have had the pleasure of staying at the Forman Guest House many times. Great to be a block from the beach and boardwalk. We always enjoy relaxing on the wrap around porch after a day at the beach. The house is immaculately clean, comfortable and well maintained. There are so many great restaurants we always have a hard time choosing where to go. Rainy days are great as well. We love heading into town to hit some of the local shops. Antique shops are abundant in the area. Can't wait to head back down! Thanks for always giving us a great stay there!
Point Pleasant Beach Seafood Festival September 20th on Arnold Ave. Crafts, Food and Music. All the local restaurants will have a booth at this event.
Martells Tiki Bar on the Boardwalk offers food and drink with live bands and a dance floor. This place has a large main bar but also has long pier with a small bar at the end which feels pretty private. This place also features a raw bar as well. Many drink selections.
Jenkinson's Pavillion Boardwalk and Amusement Park. Plenty of rides, miniature golf, funhouse, arcades and food concessions for the whole family. Great ice cream shoppe here with lots of flavors.
