Annie Sherman, the owner of Kona Reef Suite D32, is an accomplished jewelry designer whose celebrity clientele includes country singing legend, Miss Dolly Parton, Miss New York 2006, Miss North Dakota 2008, Miss Reno-Sparks 2009, Miss Bonnie Bowden (a seasoned jazz singer who had graced the stage of the Johnny Carson's Tonight Show, the Merv Griffin Show, etc.).

Annie's jewelry collection was chosen to be featured in InStyle Magazine (A Special Issue For The Bride! The Spring 2004 Edition) and in the 2008 movie 'The Code' starring Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas and Radha Mitchell.

She has a long list of loyal repeat customers, many of whom are brides-to-be searching for the perfect jewelry to wear with their beautiful wedding gowns!

Annie also owns a successful vintage jewelry online store (Annie Sherman Vintage Jewelry) that sells beautiful jewelry worldwide. Her designer's eye for beauty has shone through the beautiful decor of her Kona Reef Suite D32.

Aside from designing jewelry and running her jewelry business, saving animals is also her passion.

Walked into the condo and were in awe of the speculator view, best view at Kona Reef, great location, nice short walk into Kona, lots of stores, restaurants. Condo nicely done everything you would need for your stay including beach chairs, toys, etc. beautiful sunsets right for your lanai, all you need is the glass of wine! Hope to be back

Lovely, private and quiet

Condo is just as described and feels even "lighter" than in the photos. The king bed is very comfortable. You can hear the ocean everywhere in the condo if you just close the lanai screen door. You will hardly need the A/C, at least not in March. Didn't hear any neighbors and there is complete privacy in the lanai. Perfect for a couple. We have a 7 year old and he slept on the sofa bed, which we don't believe could accommode more than one (small) person comfortably. It may be approaching the end of its better days. Overall, a great value. Good vibes in this place, for sure. The owner, Annie, was fantastic to deal with as was the management company. They stay in touch during your stay. We are very glad we decided against a hotel and after many, many hours of searching listings, decided to stay here. Thank you Annie!

Views everywhere!

We have stayed in another unit on this property and there is no comparison! Annie has done a phenomenal job with utilizing mirrors to be able to enjoy views no matter where you are in the unit and on the lanai! The sound of the waves are heard even in the bedroom at night. A great location for walking to shops and restaurants along with top notch communication in booking and with the management company too! Outstanding housekeeping to top it off!

Perfect Location With Crashing Waves Beneath Your Condo. Beautiful 1BR Oceanfront Condo!

The owner (Annie) was very accommodating making our anniversary celebration possible. The service from the property management firm, Knutson (Blake) was outstanding. Download their app and stay connected with all the info you need at your fingertips. They have the most proactive, customer oriented process I have ever experienced. Ask questions, get answers. Need service, get service. Super easy check in and check out.

Now for the unit itself. This unit is very well equipped with plenty of utensils, cookware, and even snorkeling equipment. Full size appliances and washer dryer all came in handy. The BBQ area by the pool with ocean views was in great shape with clean top notch equipment, canopy, tiled counter space, and sink area. I loved making new friends and exchanging island tips while grilling.

The living room space is adequate size and comfortable with large glass windows and Arcadia door out to the oceanfront balcony. A large outdoor table was our dining room as we watched the waves crashing on the rocks, surfers, parasailing, jet skiers, and cruise ship docking. With temps in the upper 80's, there are a few hours during the day where the a/c makes a world of difference to get refreshed before heading out for more island adventures. Many rentals do not have a/c and trust me, we tried that once thinking it would be ok. Well, its a manageable heat, but we travel to Hawaii to relax and to be comfortable. A/C is a must and this unit has one that actually works.

The location is perfect for everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed night walks along the ocean to nearby stores, restaurants, and bars. Then during the day, we took scenic drives around the entire island to various parks and beaches. Our favorite was the Volcano National Park and I highly recommend seeing the Akaka and Akuna Falls. Its absolute paradise with an easy stairway hike through the lush tropical rainforest.

If an affordable and comfortable 1 bedroom oceanfront condo is what you are looking for, this is it.

A weeks getaway

We only had a week free and chose Kona for the getaway. We found this property on VRBO, liked the view as pictured on VRBO, and reserved it. The stay was quite nice. Quiet, ( except for the soothing sound of the Ocean ), plenty of room for 2, and comfortable. Great stay for the price.
