Bedrooms 2
Space 399 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Great tiny home... prepare to relax

The cabin is near the Staples Historic Park, Staples Historic Cemetery, and the San Marcos River (The owner does not provide access to the SM River). Staples is a quiet town. The population is 250 people. Be prepared to relax.

Even though the cabin is located in a small town, it is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio. You will be about 5 minutes from Martindale tubing, 15 minutes from the San Marcos Factory Outlet, 20 minutes from the Formula One Racetrack, and 10 minutes from Lockhart and Luling bar-b-que.

About Carol Wester

We live in Staples and are active in our community. We hope to show you the simplicity and beauty of our town.

Carol Wester purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Carol Wester chose Texas

This property is in downtown Staples. The city doesn't have any street lights or stores. Be prepared to relax and enjoy all the benefits of Central Texas, without the crowds. The birds, stars and sunrises are amazing. You can canoe from Martindale to Staples. This place is ideal for cyclist and nature lovers.

What makes this cabin unique

This house is part of a 'tiny town' that's under development. We have three other homes (on this property) if you have a group event.

Beautiful tiny cabin in the quiet country side

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay in this tiny cabin! It is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. We easily slept five people and didn't ever feel that the space was too small. Carol has thought of everything you could need while you were there from dishes, to loads of extra towels, to toiletries you might have forgotten at home. We can't wait to stay here again. It was truly awesome!

The property was extremely cute!

  • 5 of 5

It felt like home away from home! The attention to detail was awesome. It had everything you needed and more. The linens were fresh and clean. The house was spotless. My family has stayed in other tiny homes that we wouldnt recommend, but this tiny home we will definately tell family and friends about. The property manager Cheryl was awesome. I cant say enough great things about this place.

Perfect little paradise in the hill country!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in many cabins in the past 5 years. I must say this has been our favorite. Beautiful on the inside and out! Anything you could possibly need is provided and super clean! We enjoyed cooking out and sitting on the porch wirh the outside lights in the evening. Perfect little paradise in the hill country.

Amazing Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in this tiny home, it was so cute, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything! We had six people staying in this tiny home and had plenty of space. It was easy to find, directions were perfect, instructions were very easy and detailed. We were 20-30 minutes away from all the activities we had planned for our weekend getaway. We would definitely return to this tiny home and recommend it to anyone and everyone! Thank you for a great stay, Carol!
