Charming, comfortable, clean

  • 5 of 5

I should use all caps to describe this home. So Clean it was as if no one had ever been there. Comfortable rooms and Charming decorations. Lots of extra linens. It was like visiting Grandma. Ray next door was a fountain of information for seeing local sights.

Very cozy house

  • 5 of 5

Very cute house on nice quiet street. Very convenient, walking distance to town. Nicely decorated and very clean. Owners had lots of reading material about area and history, games and even coffee for us. Nice touch. Also had nice little yard with table to sit out back and enjoy each others company. Would totally stay there again.

Perfect place for a Grand Canyon Visit!

  • 5 of 5

The house was clean and well maintained. Its quaint little place and fit out group of 7 comfortably. The caretaker is next door and is very responsive and helpful. The town of Williams is a flash back from the 50s with a lot of Route 66 attractions. Drive to Grand Canyon is less than an hour.

Cozy cottage

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Williams property. Downtown Williams and the Safeway are accessible by foot. The house itself is quite comfortable and clean. There are a number of books about the area in the house. Definitely a great location for visiting the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and the surrounding area. Thank you for providing such a great vacation home!

Older but Okay

  • 3 of 5

The owner has embraced the character of this home which has a Topsy-feel, like it just grew over the decades. There are step-ups here and there so you always have to watch where you're going. For summer visits, know that there is a single window air conditioner in the living room and lots of fans. It was warm at bedtime, but cooled during the night. Kitchen pots, pans and even forks were in short supply. One door of the Jack & Jill bathroom wouldn't close and the other wouldn't stay closed. The house was acceptably clean and the owner quickly responded to any questions. Overall, we had a good stay an hour's drive south of the Grand Canyon.

Owner's Response: Thank you Daniel, It was an unusually hot week. This is and older home like we mention in the information when renting it. It is usually very nice and cool there and air conditioning is not needed. There is a window AC unit like you mentioned and this is usually enough. I will also check the kitchen most people say it is very well stocked. I will add more utensils. There are at least 8 sets so I will add more for those guests staying longer. I also checked the doors and they are closing fine. I will keep my eyes on this one. I'm glad to hear it was very clean. I feel this is most important when choosing a home to stay in. Thank you again.
