Exactly as promised with the bonus of a great location

  • 5 of 5

Megan prepared everything as promised in the description of this apartment. She greeted me at the apartment when I arrived to orient me to the neighborhood. From our conversation she was able to recommend restaurants that would suit my palate and yoga studios and instructors. It was a nice personal touch.

The building's in the center of Kensington Market. However, the streets are quiet at night. You're not on a late-night party street. Also, despite being in the equivalent of street truck/storefronts the varied aromas from the markets and storefronts don't waft into the apartment. So, you're in the center of the action but it's quiet when you want it to be quiet. You can grab ingredients for meals to make in the easy to figure out kitchen, or eat all your meals in the Market without ever repeating yourself.

I was able to operate everything intuitively from the broiler to the washing/drying machines.

I used Toronto Bike Share a lot during this stay. There are two kiosks a block and a half away on Augusta Street.

I also used public transportation between the airport and the neighborhood. While according to the street map it may make sense to take UP (airport train) to Bloor Street station to stay west of downtown and closer to the apartment, if you're traveling with luggage it's better to take UP to the Union Station terminus and then double back on the streetcar that goes from Union and up Spadina. The Nassau stop on Spadina is one block away from the apartment building. Two trains and wheely bag-friendly. If you disembark on Bloor you have to go outside to find the subway to take it to Spadina to catch the streetcar south to Nassau. Too much with luggage.

With three distinct spaces marked out within the open design loft there is a sense of private space and variety. The shower pressure is strong and the bed very comfortable.

Book it! Stay a while!

Best place, location and hostess

  • 5 of 5

The location is second to none, lots to see and do around there. Transportation is around the corner. The place is modern clean, bright and cozy at the same time. The kitchen is fully stuffed. Megan is the best hostess and easy to communicate with. She waited for us with a warm welcome. She send us a file with local tips ahead of time. Great experience.

We love your apartment in the heart of Kensington Market

  • 5 of 5

We were very comfortable in your apartment and were able to have Christmas dinner for the five of us - bought everything we needed within a half a block of the apartment in small places, great butcher shop, fruit & vegie market and organic store. Had dim sum lunch at Rol-San across from the light on the right on Spadina, great coffee from Jimmy's. Would stay here again.

Great location and well appointed flat

  • 5 of 5

Megan's flat is in the heart of Kensington Market - a foodie's heaven and close to everything you might want to see in Toronto. Although bustling during the day, it is surprisingly quiet at night. The flat has everything you need to relax - well equipped kitchen and bathroom, laundry and comfy bed and couch. Everything was very clean and Megan was most helpful about checkin and checkout, as well as providing a list.of favourite shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend!

Loft living in a vibrant part of the city

  • 5 of 5

Welcome to the contemporary, stylish loft apartment you never knew you had or would then go on and want for yourself!

A well-appointed and maintained, clean, loft apartment, which was packed with all the essentials for your stay. This is before you get out and enjoy the surrounding area, which is filled with excellent local hideouts!

The owner was quick to reply to correspondence, and very helpful in providing us with a list of go-to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants and bars.

My partner and I had a terrific time at this apartment and we hope to be returning again for another stay. We came as strangers and felt as though we left as friends. Thank you!
