The Casa De Emdeko oceanfront complex is located on Alii Drive, 2 miles south of downtown Kailua-Kona and approximately 15 minutes from the airport.
Relax on the sandy sunning area facing the ocean and hop in the oceanfront pool a few steps away. In the evening, return with your evening refreshments for a wonderful Kona sunset, before cooking your dinner on the nearby bbq's, and dine at one of the tables with a wonderful ocean view.
This condo complex is centrally located near beaches for snorkeling and swimming, as well as near shopping. Our condo is fully furnished with everything you should need including central air conditioning, washer/dryer, high speed & wi-fi Internet, & free long distance to US & Canada.
This complex offers two swimming pools with one located oceanfront and a sandy beach above a seawall, as mentioned above. Amenities include elevators, gas cooking grills, and a cabana with bathrooms and full showers. From the outdoor dining area overlooking the ocean, we have often watched dolphin pods swim by. The well-maintained grounds with gardens and a waterfall give the complex a Hawaiian ambiance.
Our updated tropically decorated condo, #A206, is on the second floor (with easy access to the elevator), and has ocean and garden views from the lanai.

We fell in love with the Casa complex during our first visit to Kona. It has a unique layout with the bbq's and dining areas all in one place with an oceanfront view that gives a friendly ohana feeling. You meet people & make friends from all over the world.
Our condo was our second home for six years before we moved to Kona and is still our second home.

All of the great reviews that we read about this condominium came true. We can echo J.B. and Cadace's comments about the condo, its location, the amenities and how well stocked we found the condo to be. Close elevator access made it very easy to handle luggage in and out of the facility. Three of us stayed very comfortably at the condo. Our teenager granddaughter slept on the foldout sofa and stated that it was very comfortable. Every time we thought that we forgot something or needed to purchase something, we found it in the condo. The personal touch that Mary provides her guests are exceptional. As a condo owner/landlord ourselves, we understand the importance that pride of a property seems to rub off on the tenants. If the owner takes pride in their property, the tenants take care of it as well. To top off everything we have said, our departure flight was at 9:00 pm. Mary's next tenant wasn't scheduled to come in the next day. We didn't even ask about a late checkout. She knew when our flight departed and she offered to let us stay in the condo until we had to go to the airport. That's taking it above and beyond what we could ever expect. Our thanks to Mary for making our vacation most memorable. When returning to Kona, we will definitely check for a vacancy at Mary's condo first.
This condo was perfect- the location, the property, & of course the unit itself. It was very clean, very modern, & well stocked, from all the towels to everything you could need in the kitchen. There is not one thing missing from the kitchen if you want to cook, including spices & condiments. Mary was very quick & thorough in answering any questions prior to our arrival. You can tell she really cares and goes that extra mile for her guests, even leaving a note & a gift basket. We couldn't of made a better choice!
Exceptional condo: extremely clean, great floor plan, nicely decorated, perfect location, and well stocked with extra supplies including beach gear. Owner is very friendly and helpful---answers all questions in detail about condo and Hawaii. Upon arrival at condo, we were pleasantly surprised and appreciated receiving a personal note and thoughtful food gift basket from owner. Without a doubt, when we return to Kona, we look forward to staying here again!

We have returned to #206 for the last five years because of the location and it has everything you need during your stay. It is extremely clean, bright and well appointed, comfy bed and everything is new or like new condition. The owners take pride in anticipating visitors needs and provide lots of extras. They live on island and are very responsive and helpful.

This is the nicest and most well equiped condo we have ever stayed in! Anything and everything is available right here! We are so pleased with how organized and helpful our condo owners are! The view here is perfect, the 2 pools are amazing, the location is wonderful, and the people are very friendly. Couldn't ask for anything better...we WILL be back...in fact, we don't want to leave!!
Coming to the Casa is such a fabulous way to get away! Every time we come to visit here we enjoy every minute thoroughly. Just hanging out cooking here, down at the grills provided and watching the sunset is awesome! Also so conveniently located to delicious restaurants on the water. Romantic beaches to explore as well as family style beaches right on the strip! You can't lose seriously ! Come see for yourself and experience a most fun and relaxing get away at Casa.
The owners of this place we cannot put into words how much we appreciate and love them as people. So accommodating and treat you like family.
Were going back without a doubt! (On a side note if you are into local Artist , in town usually on Wednesdays in front of Bongos . You will find Robert Woodward painting away. Reasonably priced and right up there with Wyland without the sticker shock. )
