Worth every penny and then some!

Family gathering of 24-the house was really set up

nicely for a large group. Far enough away from town that you feeel secluded, yet close enough for quick jaunts. We loved the kitchen, really equipped nicely with plenty of utensils, glassware and the labeling was AMAZING!! We utilized every room and the general review from all family members was that they slept well. Emily and Josh were great and we loved having them nearby for questions. We own a number of vacation rental homes and we all really felt this was well worth the money. Would come back again and again. Thank you!!!

Beautiful house, beautiful scenery and lots of room

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for 4 nights with our extended family. We had 17 people and loved the place. There was more than enough room to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The location is stunning with incredible views of Mount Sopris and lovely sunsets. Kitchen was nice but could use a second refrigerator for large groups like ours. The manager came up with a temporary solution for us but needs to find a more permanent solution. Some of the pipes do squeal when you shower but it is an older home so it's not unexpected. The manager was extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend this place for large groups and would love to go back.

We really loved our stay, and especially the extra care taken by Emily to feed us meals every night. Thank you!

Even more beautiful than expected

  • 5 of 5

We had 4 families that included many kids staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was well equipped to deal with large groups. The only negative we had is that the airflow on the bottom floor was not very good. It was very hot and with no AC was difficult to cool down. The view is absolutely breathtaking. We are already planning to stay again.

Awesome views

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We are two large families that stayed here with several children (21 people total). The manager Emily was very gracious and welcoming. We loved how roomy the cabin was and that there were plenty of dishes, linens, towels etc. The privacy is wonderful and the views from the cabin are simply amazing. We were wishing that there would have been snow at the cabin for the little ones to be able to do some sliding while the older kids were skiing, but, of course, that is uncontrollable. Also, the good Finns that we are, were missing a sauna. :) There is a steam shower in the master bedroom upstairs but it did not work. The cabin is a little outdated but it was tidy and clean and well sufficed for our purposes. The owners did a wonderful job communicating with us and giving us suggestions and tips on things to do in the area. We would definitely like to come again.
