This condo is in the award winning Horizons Condominium on the 7th
floor end unit with 1714 interior square feet. The balcony from the
living/ dining area wraps around the east and south side of the
unit. The only thing between the balcony and the beach is the
swimming pool. The master suite accesses this balcony and a private
balcony to the west. The view to the south is toward the Boardwalk
and Kennedy Space Center.
The building lobby is secure with 24 hrs. camera surveillance.
Guests are buzzed into the lobby from the unit for access to the
elevators. One reserved parking in the secured underground parking
garage has direct access to the building elevators for the tenant.
The building is located on the exclusive Ormond Beach end of Daytona.
We had the pleasure of spending an awesome bike week in this amazing condo. We were able to park our three bikes in the basement garage so they happy too! It was actually neat to be on the north end of Daytona's A1A as it made it easier to get around. The condo was very homey and the views are fantastic. The whole family really loved. it. The owners were very easy to work with and had everything sent to you ahead of time, so all we had to do was move in. Best bike week ever! Thanks Robert.
We loved our stay here, the location is perfect, the Condo is Beautiful and it really has breath taking views! We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay, we watched dolphins playing around in the ocean right from the patio, 2 of the mornings we were there, it was awesome! My family first stayed here in 2005. This condo is awesome. We have stayed several times and this year (2015) the family (kids - now adults) stayed. Plenty of room and perfectly furnished. Would highly recommend. Owner is super easy to communicate with and easy to deal with!
This condo is as spectacular as the photos show. It is very well maintained, comfortable and has excellent views over 180 degrees. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was in working order. There are even (pay) laundry facilities right down the hall. The owner was excellent to deal with and I would stay there again if I find myself in Daytona in the future.
I have leased this condo for several years with friends and family. Have always enjoyed our stay. Beach views incredible and condo always clean and in good condition. Pleasant owner who is easy to deal with. I hope to stay here for several more years--hope to bring my grandchildren soon!
My family stayed at this amazing condo the week of June 9th-16th 2012 and we loved everything about it. The condo was very quiet, had more than enough space for all 5 of us, and the views from the living/dining area and balconies were amazing. The condo comes furnished with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. The kids liked the separate room with double beds and a view across Daytona on the river side, and we enjoyed the underground secure parking, laundry facilities in the hall, and the crystal clear pool. The star attraction here is the ocean and you have amazing views of the beach from every room in this condo. During our stay we saw several pods of dolphins swim by and there was a sea turtle nest right outside on the beach. The Horizon's Condominium building is only 1 mile from the pier and there are dozens of restaurants, shopping centers, and local stores in either direction. The building has security and maintenance staff on site during business hours and only registered guests can get in the building and parking garage. We felt very safe in and around the condo building which is more than we can say about the last couple of hotels we stayed in further North. The entire week we were there we only had to share the beach with a dozen or so other people and it was not crowded like some of the hotels closer to the pier. The owners (Robert and Kathy) were another reason why we chose this condo to rent and they are also the reason why we will definitely be back next year.
