Nestled amidst tall Jack pines, birch trees, Norway and White Pine trees, this great four bedroom cabin is on beautiful Lake Margaret in Lake Shore, MN. This is the ideal spot to spend some quiet quality time with friends or family. Whether you want to fish, boat, sail, water ski, hike or simply sit on the dock and listen to the loons sing; this is the place to be. Ideally located on the Gull Lake Chain of Lakes so you are just minutes to Gull Lake through the channel. The lake bottom is sandy with rocks and weeds. Very centrally located off Highways 371 and 77. Very close to great restaurants by boat or car.

This is the perfect summer cabin, the area is beautiful and peaceful, yet there is plenty to keep you busy if you desire.
It is one of the best fishing lakes and there are lots of eagles and loons to watch from the deck or the during hikes or sitting on the dock.
We arrived to a nice welcome of wine and chocolates. Our vacation just got better from there. This was a great cabin for our family even with one section not having air conditioning. It afforded us to have our own space and also come together. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit and played games on the screened porch. Laura, the property manager, provided many things that equipped this cabin with personal touches. We were glad we rented a boat. This allowed us to cruise the many lakes connected to Lake Margaret and enjoyed many beautiful sunsets. The many stairs to the water might make it difficult for those with mobile disabilities and very small children. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Was a nice stay but there are a lot of stairs down to the water-my niece counted 81 total. The dock picture also is very misleading, we brought up 3 boats and there is just a single dock with a lift-the picture of 2 docks should be updated. Beyond that the location is great, very private and the weather was awesome.
Clean and spacious and certainly comfortable for more than one family. The property manager was so nice and accommodating. Her personal touches really made our stay outstanding. The area is beautiful cabin country with many places to discover and explore. We would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the many steps to the lake, but very common with any lakefront property.
We've always loved the area and this is a terrific place to enjoy it! It's nestled right into a beautiful area right by Gull Lake. The house was even bigger than we thought, everything was clean, and what a pleasure to have a washer/dryer when you're on vacation! Great place, we're actually renting it again soon, and make sure to go to Cowboy's Bar/Restaurant since you can actually take a nice walk there!
Our extended family of 9 (ages 9 to 73) spent a relaxing week celebrating a 50th anniversary at this Margaret Lake house. It’s on a very quiet road and provided a peaceful setting for enjoying the lake. We especially enjoyed the deck on the upper level. Greatly appreciated were: 1) WIFi, which worked flawlessly and fast, 2) the stereo system that was compatible with iPods, 3) fireplaces both upstairs and down which were used on cool mornings—after all you want to listen to the loons at night. The home owner, who lives next door, was most responsive to our needs. A house manual would be a good addition for the property. We would definitely return to this property—we were so involved in anniversary activities we hardly had time to take advantage of its assets.
Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay on Lake Margaret. The home was beautiful & clean and the teens loved having their own "floor" all to themselves. There was a great boat lift where we could keep our fishing boat and the scenery was gorgeous. The owner was very kind and left us a wonderful welcome note with champagne. Such a quiet relaxing time!
