About Lisa or Michael Wood
We are Lisa and Michael Wood, and we decided to move to this area back in 1991 after enjoying visiting here. We both originally came from the aircraft industry, but had the opportunity to do something we dreamed of, live the mountain lifestyle. If you've visited the area before, you will understand the attraction to this area. If you are visiting for the first time, we guarantee you will come often.
Lisa or Michael Wood purchased this Cabin in 1996
Why Lisa or Michael Wood chose Pigeon Forge
We decided on this property because of the location, just 2 1/2 miles (or 2 streets away) from the Parkway and Wears Valley Rd. in the middle of Pigeon Forge. All the roads are paved and wide leading to the cabin, and the driveway is paved also. We also liked the fact that the cabin sits up and off the street with the woods on all sides of a 1/2 acre lot.
What makes this Cabin unique
We feel the unique benefits of staying at our cabin is that it is a real log cabin that is well maintained and super clean. It is super cozy and tastefully decorated. Centrally located to all the restaurants, shopping and music theaters one direction and the Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park the other.

Beautiful cabin, wonderful time, thanks
This is the perfect cabin to stay in, it is surperb inside just like home! It has all the amenities you need. We truly enjoyed our vacation time there and in the Smoky Mtns.
Clean, Cozy and Comfortable
We had a wonderful experience staying at the Oakridge cabin! Very clean with attention to detail. Property is well maintained and easy access to the parkway.
Very lovely place, had a wonderful weekend get a way!! Will definitely be back.
Beautiful property conveniently located.
Tent recovery 2019
We stayed for 3 nights to recover from a 5 day tent camping trip. Both trips were marked by daily rainstorms and a power outage but the cabin was far more comfortable. In fact, the hot tub retains heat so well that we spent the power outage soaking (no jets) in hot water from the previous evening’s soak. Lisa kept me informed about the outage and everything worked out great. We’ll be back.
Forested area, 2 miles from the Parkway (Hwy. 441) and Wears Valley Road (Hwy. 321) which is the center of Pigeon Forge attractions. Off Wears Valley Road and in 1/2 a mile. Paved roads all the way.
