We were very pleased with the ease of the rental of this property as well as how the rental company worked with our needs. Our stay was a very nice getaway from the winter storm that was taking place in our state. The apartment was easy to get into and out of. We were especially happy that there was a motion light that came on if we arrived "home" after dark. There were zero issues with the comfort of the home or items inside. There is a large grocery store on the same block which was very convenient for items that we may have missed from our Trader Joe's stop...The apartment was a 5 star but the parking with our fairly small eco friendly rental car was a different story. Upon arrival we found parking right in front of the Apartment. Please note that there are parking rules that must be followed closely. We lost our parking spot as soon as we left to go sightseeing. The first night my husband dropped us off and drove around for 25 minutes to find parking. The second night we drove around for an hour for a parking spot and the 3rd night was about 45 minutes worth of driving around searching for parking. There is a parking lot at the grocery store which is worth, at the very least, looking into to see if one can purchase parking for an extended period of time. Otherwise our stay was a delight!
Front lock was a little tricky and we were given wrong code. Needs lock on front gate. Homeless person was living down stairs on patio. Not close to trollies/subway.
If we, that is myself ...and my husband were to ever call a habitat "home" For sure it would have to meet the every criteria that we hold in high esteem for house to turn into home-- and they may be: Cleanliness say is next to Godliness Comfort say is next to Happiness Service say is next to Satisfaction Ok - we found all 3 and some more at the Nopa Charmer... Tell me what we missed ? Don't know and don't care ... So will you when you get There! Five stars!
My family was in town for my brother's wedding -- and this was great for the three of us. It was central for us and was a great base for all the activities around the city. I'd stay again. Btw - if you have a car, parking is typical SF, as in tough, but that is not a reason to stay away. And if stairs are an issue for you this is a second story walk up -- which wasn't a problem for us but if it would be for you...
