About Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp

Having been raised in Chicago I knew did not want to spend my life in the City. When traveling out west back in 1975 I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico incredible sky's and landscape. I found the people here especially back in '75 to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for 34 years makes me the perfect local hostess to give you local tips on making your stay most memorable.

Spectacular place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a delightful trip to Santa Fe and the Casa Luna was a big part in making that so. This was a perfect place for our family of 4 adults, one 12 yr old and two 3 yr olds to stay. The beds were all comfy and the linens were great. The kitchen was spectacular - so beautifully outfitted with everything anyone could want. The bag of coffee and cream cups in the refrigerator was an exceptionally nice touch. Thanks for that.

Your having all the books and games for the toddlers was great. They wanted each of the books read multiple times. And they loved all of those boxes of games.

Santa Fe is a terrific city and thank you so much for making our family vacation be so perfect.

Escape to Luna House

  • 5 of 5

First impression was very good, house very clean and cozy. There were 6 of us and everyone liked the house and all that was provided. The info book needs to be updated since it states No available TV channels and we discovered the second day that was false. Couldn't figure out how to get tv playing through those tower speakers either. Would be nice to have a Cd player that was more substantial than the clock/radio cd player which didn't work (I notified Wendy and staff).

Overall, the Luna is a well decorated and comfortable home.

Thank You.

Owner's Response: I am so sorry that the entertainment system gave you so much trouble! We are always struggling with the cable companies to simplify our setups. Our guests can always call us for technical assistance. Otherwise, I am glad you enjoyed the home and your stay, and I hope we will see you in Santa Fe again some time soon.

Enjoy central neighbourhood living in Sante Fe

  • 5 of 5

Luna was a delightful pied a terre for our group, which consisted of my husband and me, our daughter and husband, and his mother. We were in Santa Fe for our kids' gallery opening and this property was ideal for our needs. We could relax together, brew up a pot of coffee, come and go, and yet be close to the gallery for business and the big event. The back garden was restful. The house layout was great. We all felt we had privacy yet communal space.

When we next return, we hope to stay at Luna. It is an easy ~1 km walk to the historic town centre, yet retains the charm of an old, friendly neighbourhood with no drive-through traffic. The key lock-box is a terrific idea--no need to meet the owner/lesser at a specific time, and independence for each occupant to come and go.

Enjoy! We certainly did.

Great city, great location, charming house!

  • 4 of 5

Thoughtfully decorated, charming bungalow in wonderful, walkable neighborhood. A great place for families to gather; not fancy but attention to detail to make time exploring the city easy and fun to come home to. Easy walk to everything and excellent restaurant near by. Made a great home base for a wonderful family reunion in Santa Fe.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

This home was absolutely beautiful. While the neighborhood was quiet, the house was within walking distance to downtown Santa Fe. I would definitely stay at Casa Luna again!
