Detailed Description:

You do not get much more Santa Fe style than in this charming house just a 13 minute walk (.6 miles) North of the towns historic center, the Plaza. A gas-burning Kiva fireplace accents the living room. Covered viga ceilings and tile floors grace your home. Hand trolled plaster walls add to the warmth of Casa Kiva. So lovingly furnished and appointed, you are going to feel incredibly comfortable in your home away from home. Casa Kiva is flooded with natural light in every direction (one of the advantages of newer construction in Santa Fe) The open floor plan invites family and friends to gather in comfort. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining room yet tastefully divided at the same time. There is a comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The Master has a king-bed with a full bath and the second bathroom has a King bed with a full bath near-by in the hallway. Beautiful linens, high-end leather furnishings help you know you are a special guest in this home. Not to many Santa Fe homes can boast a carport, but this one does. How about a flat screen TV in every room! French doors open to the back yard which is spacious, secluded and inviting. You will have to sacrifice a dinner in one of our fine restaurants to barbecue on the gas grill for some fresco dining.

This home qualifies for a %15 discount for active members of the military (must book over the phone with Two Casitas).

About Wendy Kapp

A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals

Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old.

While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.

Why Wendy Kapp chose Santa Fe

Location, location, location is why I chose these homes; walk everywhere.

What makes this house unique

When you stay with Two Casitas you stay like a local, not like a tourist, and experience Santa Fe like you live here. Who knows, maybe you will someday!

Clean, quiet and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This home is very clean, comfortable and quiet! it was perfect for two couples. We loved the home and our Santa Fe experience. The patio was delightful for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation and reading and an evening fire in the chiminea. This location is close to all Santa Fe has to offer. The only downside is for visitors that like to cook. (The food in Santa Fe was amazing but I do get tired of eating out all the time.) It is a lovely kitchen and there is adequate cookware and utensils but there is only salt and pepper! - no condiments, no spices, olive oil, etc. No basics, what so ever. (there was coffee - thank goodness!) It was a shame to have to buy basics only to have to leave them behind. I would recommend this home.

Great Kiva

  • 5 of 5

Our Santa Fe "home" was very nice. The bottle of wine and bottles of water were a great welcome. We loved being close enough to walk to the Plaza. When we didn't walk, we used Uber which was a minimal expense. We would recommend this Kiva to both friends and family!

Exquisite vacation in Santa Fe

  • 5 of 5

The unit was wonderful. The location, furnishings, outdoor patio, nearby shopping and management team couldn't be better. And best of all, you can walk to shopping and dining, leaving the car behind.

Perfect Santa Fe casita

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with our dog, had a wonderful stay here this past weekend. It is walking distance to the square. It is quiet and comfortable. The covered parking spot is really valuable, especially during a busy weekend (we were there during Spanish Market). And the little courtyard is perfect for a dog. We can't wait to come back to Santa Fe and stay here again!
